It is good looking Kaizen foam, and it will serve the purpose it’s there for - to built your own shadow insert for the tool box.I like the black and red color scheme - it provides a nice, clean contrast to let you immediately notice if one of the tools is missing at the end of a job.That said I find the price pretty high; this is especially true given that you get 3 rather small pieces.Speaking of tens pieces, I did not manage to fit then into any of the (differently sizes) drawers of my several toolboxes. I always ended up needing to add a few inches on the side to the back to fill up the drawer.Plus, I fond them too small to accommodate most of my longer tools - e.g., my standard 1/2” ratchet would just be too long to fit into the piece.Bottom line:I like the looks of this Kaizen foam, and if what you want to use this for is smaller than the panel size this is a nice (albeit somewhat pricey) option to organize your (smaller) tools.Otherwise I would look someplace else - I found larger pieces for a decent price on Amazon, but they were black/white, not quite as pretty,

I use these in my harbor freight customized tool carts' drawer. The foams are made of tough and highly dense material where as after I cut out a slot for the tool, it does expand up a bit to make the fit slightly tighter. The foam is very light weight and easy to slip in and out of the drawers. The red lower level certainly yields a great contrast for quick locating of tools. Lastly, these foams are a bit tough to cut, so I had to use a soldering iron to help melt out some of the burrs. Without something to trim the foam, I simply couldn't keep up a very smooth and nice texturization for the customized slots. But overall, this is very similar to the ninja foam or kaizen foam that I've used from before.

Not a good product, I've had it installed in my traveling toolbox for two weeks and the foam doesn't hold the tools anymore. It looks like the holes that were cut are getting bigger and bigger. Also the measurements are not correct, I purchased this item because the measurements described are on point but the 12 inches was actually 11 3/4. The only positive thing for this item is, it's easy to cut with a hot knife

Very expensive with no features. Just foam. No cutouts or pluck outs.

Gotw some tools that had foam similar to this. I had to get more for my other tools. None only does this foam keep my tools in order but I can tell instantly when someone hasn’t put my tools back after using them.Cutting the foam out is super easy. Set the tool down and trace it out and then use a razer blade to cut the shape.I also used this foam for my firearms. It looks incredible in my safe and it keeps the firearms from getting scratched up. I got the magazines organized with this foam to.This stuff has a lot of benefits for tools, firearms, collectibles and so on. Big fan of this!

I ordered this because I'm finally getting around to renovating my garage. After 10 yrs in the automotive industry I finally started rebuilding cars.As such, I have acquired a sheet-ton of tools and I needed to organize my tool chest.The foam arrived as described and on time. It's well made and thick. That said it's important you use a sharp blade when cutting the shapes.Overall it's of good quality so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
