I’ve been using the UPERFECT 2.5K QLED Portable Monitor (16”) as a second monitor for my desktop setup, and overall I’m very happy with it. The picture quality is excellent; sharp, vibrant, and a noticeable upgrade from standard portable displays. Setup was incredibly easy, and I really appreciate having a full-size HDMI port, which makes connecting to my desktop completely hassle-free. My only minor gripe is the included folio case. Since I don’t travel with the monitor, I would have preferred a built-in kickstand option. That said, UPERFECT does offer a separate stand (I simply didn’t pay close enough attention when ordering, so that one’s on me). I also want to highlight their customer service, which was outstanding. I reached out with a question and received a very quick and helpful response, and they guided me to the correct VESA mount stand for my setup with no issues. All in all, this has been a great addition to my desk. I’m very satisfied with the monitor’s performance and support, and I would absolutely recommend it to friends looking for a high-quality second display.

I was wanting a 2nd (smaller) monitor for a while now to multitask, and decided to try out a portable monitor. I don't regret it at all! I can write a whole essay about it, but I'll stick to the main points: • It's lightweight - perfect for taking on-the-go and traveling • Very easy to set up - just hook up the power cord and then use an hdmi or usb-c cable to connect to phone, computer, or console • Not touchscreen, but the screen can be rotated to be vertical - granted, I haven't tried it out much myself yet • Much sharper than my original 1080p monitor – I know the picture won't do it justice, but in reality, the difference in sharpness is very visible between the 2 monitors • No lagging between screens or any hiccups that I've come across yet • Great for a budget - saves you from having a giant hole in your wallet just to have a nice monitor Overall, a great monitor and definitely worth considering!

Incredible monitor for the money. I use this when traveling for both work and gaming, especially when the hotel I am staying at does not allow me to connect my PS5 or Switch to the TC. Super easy setup, and the image quality is excellent. This would be five stars, but the control wheel on the side is clunky and not UI-friendly. However, once you have your setup done, you never need to touch it again, and it's an incredible product.

The are cheaper 17.3in products but they are not 16:10 (wanted it for productivity and to match the aspect ratio of most modern laptops), and did not have any display color accuracy rating. That is why I decided that this monitor would be the best for screen real estate as well as color accuracy. I did not purchase this monitor for high refresh rate gaming, but it has a 144hz refresh rate and I have not noticed any input lag or ghosting which would hinder gaming. I believe for the feature set that this monitor offers it is the best value for money. There are monitors around 100 dollars cheaper with similar resolution and refresh rate, but they do not offer the 18" screen size or color accuracy ratings. -Display quality: This monitor is rated for 100% DCI-P3 color accuracy, and if you are not familiar with those, this is about as good as it gets for even most professional use cases. This laptop beats the screen on my 16' LG Gram 2021 2 in 1 which is advertised for creators and also has a high level of color accuracy. I do not do creative work, but have attached images which highlight the color accuracy of both displays. -Build quality: The construction is 100% metal and glass. The case is a nice rubber material which feels sturdy and not slippery. I feel comfortable using this monitor in my lap and on glass tables. The cover is also decently thick so I haven't had problems stacking other thing on top of this monitor. I often stack my laptop and monitor and the two end up being less than 1inch thick together, very portable. Additionally, the bezels are very thin and this 18" monitor is the same size as my 16" laptop while having a much larger screen thanks to the thinner bezels and size. Definitely do not shy away from this due to size relative to your own machine if you are comfortable with a 15in or larger laptop and are looking for more screen space. -Use cases/Portability: This monitor feels very light yet sturdy, so I am fine using it in my lap and in tighter places. You can choose to power it by your laptop or with supplementary external power. What I do sometimes is supply power from a powerbank. This helps considerably with battery life on the laptop but it is less convenient and kind of bulky. You can use it in a vertical or horizontal configuration, just make sure you change your display settings. I have not felt hindered by using this monitors except for very rare cases where there is no lap or desk space available. This monitor has speakers, but you are nearly always better off using your laptop speakers. -Impact on battery life: I can use it away from a power source at maximum brightness/refresh rate for around 3 hours and on 3/10 brightness and 60hz refresh rate (I recommend turning off 144hz if using this on battery unless you're gaming), I get around 5 hours of nonstop use. For reference typically on my laptop alone at a 3/10 brightness I get 10 hours of nonstop use. -Customer support: I had a issue (just nitpicking since I prefer things be completely perfect) with the smart cover which came with the monitor and the customer support were kind enough to resolve my issue in a couple days. Aside from a tiny scuff on the case which was resolved within days, the monitor came in excellent condition/packaging, and no matter how hard I try I do not notice any dead pixels. Overall, if you are looking for a second or third monitor to add for on the go use, I would definitely recommend this monitor, provided that your laptop has the battery overhead to handle it, or that you will be near a power source. I am unable to find a better feature-set monitor at this size and price range.

After having issues with Xbox support on THREE other monitors, I’m glad I stuck with this one. It’s by far my favourite. Here’s why: Xbox support By far my favourite thing about this monitor is it’s Xbox support. Unlike the previous two monitors I tried, it actually supports 1440p at 120hz with Freesync! (A feature that allows your refresh rate to dynamically adapt to your frame rate.) The others only support 1080p at 120hz (without Freesync), or 1440p at 60hz (without Freesync), or 1080p at 60hz (with FreeSync). With this monitor I finally get all three! Upgraded Resolution, Refresh Rate, and FreeSync! Brightness I was quite surprised at the brightness. The monitors I tried before maxed out at 400 nits, while this one reaches 500. It doesn’t seem like that big a difference, but in practice, it means that I can use this monitor in a bright room without squinting. Color The increased brightness allows for better color. When using this monitor with my USB-C dock, the difference is clear. When moving images between monitors, the saturation and vibrancy of the image is clearly superior to my laptop’s screen and my other monitors. Screen size The jump from 16” to 18” makes a massive difference. It fits snugly in my bag, and the larger screen size means I can fit more on the screen without having to squint. Responsiveness The response time is also noticeably faster, as someone who grew up playing games on TVs. It makes a huge difference in playability in quick-response games (like Ghostrunner and Doom Eternal). Laptop support The 16:10 aspect ratio is perfect for PC use. As a programmer and a student, I find the taller aspect ratio perfect for reading (textbooks, articles, and websites), and multitasking when coding (like Visual Studio and a terminal). The 2560x1660 resolution makes everything crystal clear, and noticeably smooth at it’s 144hz refresh rate. Phone Support My Samsung phone is a pretty old, so it only output at 1080p, but sure enough, it works seamlessly over USB-C. The desktop mode (DeX) mode is super neat. This isn’t my usual usecase, but it worked great in my experiment. Hardware It’s actually incredibly sturdy - the first thing you notice about it is just how durable it feels. It comes with all the cords you’ll need to run it, and an AC adapter to power it. All of which works super well. Additionally, it supports pass-through charging, so if you have a higher-watt AC adapter, you can charge your laptop through the monitor (which requires less cables, and is necessary if your laptop only has 1 charging port like mine). One thing this monitor offers that I hadn’t seen before was a built-in audio jack, which was a nice addition. Interface The interface is also a huge step-up from cheaper monitors. The menu pops up in the bottom right, instead of right in the middle of the screen, which is already so much nicer. Then, the automatic aspect ratio adjustment is leagues better than my previous monitor. Now I don’t have to change the settings every time I switch between my Xbox and my laptop. In my experience, the Uperfect Monitor has exceeded expectations. It stands out in terms of Xbox support, brightness, color quality, and screen size. It's a worthy offering for anyone seeking a versatile and high-performing display. Overall, I'm highly satisfied with this monitor and would rate it a solid 5/5.

First of all, I’ve owned several portable monitors, and honestly this one was the best I’ve tried so far. It’s very bright (which is rare to find on portable screens), with excellent colors and contrast. Despite being large (18”), it’s lightweight and easy to carry, perfect for my classes and meetings. I chose this model because I wanted something that would match my Acer Predator Helios 18 in size, proportion, and resolution. I’m using a Core i9-14900HX, RTX 4090, and 64 GB RAM laptop, so I needed a top-tier external display to keep up when doing 3D modeling and rendering. Unfortunately, I can only give it 1 star because it stopped working after just one week. It suddenly died for no reason. I want to update my review to mention that the customer service was excellent. They guided me step by step to check if the issue could be related to the cables or the power source, and after testing everything without success, they decided to send me a new monitor completely free of charge. The best part is that they made an exception for me — I didn’t even have to return the defective monitor, which would have been very expensive since I’m outside the U.S. They truly cared about solving the problem and making sure I was satisfied. I have to say that I am loving this monitor. It looks great for use on the Nintendo Switch, just know that the majority of the games only run at 30 frames per second, while this monitor is 60Hz. I have mostly been using it with my switch, since a lot of the games I have on there are RPGs, allowing me to watch TV at the same time. Playing on my Xbox Series S, it has been a joy. The screen being a little higher than 1440 with a more compact pixel density makes the gorgeous graphics look even sharper. I have been mostly playing Cyberpunk 2077 on it and am very happy with it. Just remember to change the Xbox refresh rate to 60Hz to match the monitor, or you will have odd frame skips. The monitor being lightweight also helps with travel, easily being carried with my laptop in its bag without taking up a lot of space at all. The traveling aspect is easily my favorite, since I do visit friends in other states, bringing my gaming with me. Being an affordable option, you might be willing to grab one of these for an older child to use while playing games in the car. Just a thought. One major thing I would like to point out is about the screen and purchasing a screen protector/privacy filter for it. Be sure to measure the screen itself in both inches and centimeters, so you can find a screen protector with those measurements for a 16 inch 16:10 aspect ratio. That will save you from having to waste your purchases finding the correct size for this, or any other monitor you have. The speakers are good for the size they are. Just be aware that there will be limitations for the size. I am just happy that they are even built in, since so many out there do not include built-in speakers at all. While I was watching shows, movies and Youtube, the speakers were clear and powerful enough to enjoy. Movies that thrive on surround and ambience will likely lose that, but these are just stereo speakers. This same subject is something to consider when you are playing games with heavy ambience. For these, I recommend headphones of some kind, which brings me to the point of happiness that they included a 3.5mm port. With so many electronics these days no longer including that, I was very happy to see it here. Overall, this monitor is a great buy. The performance and quality is great for the price point. I fully recommend it. Their customer service is amazing. I only wanted to get a spare adapter for traveling, so I can leave one at home. They were more than happy to help. Keep in mind, this is a 2560 x 1600p (2k class) at 60Hz LCD panel.
