A real quality piece of kit! Made of a lightweight but robust metal alloy that's easily adjustable for a range of mobiles. I use mine for videoing Youtube and Instagram clips mounted on a standard 35mm camera tripod. Simple to twist/turn and rotate, then lock firmly into position - it holds my iphone securely. Brilliant - totally recommended. Worth paying a bit more for....

This is a lovely items with quality. It’s heavy and you can feel it can mount your phone nicely. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fit into my camera stand. So I have returned it.

Having used several different tripods, I can confidently say that this stands out as a well made and versatile smartphone tripod holder with just enough heft … Two key distinguishing pros of this device: It is all metal with finely crafted and solid feeling knurled adjustment knobs and screws into the metal body…The smartphone clasp/clamp is not spring loaded as most others are. Over time tripods which are spring loaded ultimately fail the sturdiness test. That coupled with plastic ends of the most other clamps eventually cracking or breaking makes this a solid and durable choice. Some reviews have suggested that the depth of the clamp arms/ ends holding in the smartphone could have been made with more depth to firmly and securely hold most smartphones which would almost invariably be in phone cases. Although I can see that is a potential issue, my experience with using it with smartphone case on has been absolutely fine (so far) Overall I can’t fault it …other than it being on the slightly expensive side. Its sturdiness, metal build and versatility is so good I purchased a second one!

The NEEWER Smartphone Holder (Phone Tripod Mount) is a fantastic addition to my setup. The build quality is solid, with a firm grip that holds my phone securely in place without slipping. The adjustable width fits various phone sizes, and the 360-degree rotation allows for both portrait and landscape shooting with ease. I especially appreciate the cold shoe mount on top, which makes it easy to attach accessories like a microphone or light. The mount attaches smoothly to my tripod, and the overall design feels premium for the price.

I compared with another couple of options from the same company and for my purposes of making iPhone videos from a fixed position on a sturdy tripod, this was my favourite. The controls are simple and cover all the angles needed but are only just up to the job of securing the phone in the precise position that you set it. The smallest lever especially requires a really firm setting to stop it creeping, it remains to be seen whether it lasts the course

Decent smartphone holder and tripod adapter. It is made from plastic, so be careful not to force it or tighten the screws too much. Otherwise, the holder has a flexible design: it works in both portrait and landscape mode. The simplest mount uses only the holder part (the rotating support removed) screwed on the tripod head. A mini-tripod is the easiest option for desktop operation. For maximum flexibility, use the Neewer Z-Flex Tilt head as suggested in the photos (shown here in desktop operation). This is the second holder I purchased (the other one was for a friend). Recommended for vlogging, teleconferences, etc.

This unit is solid, easy to adjust, fits on the 3/8" screw on my travel tripod, the arc plate fits on my Wimberley WH-200 and my Gitzo tripod. The knurled knobs are easy to turn and tighten to hold the phone steady in the cradle. The rubber pads within the unit prevent the phone from being damaged and help hold it. It is light and compact so easy to carry with your gear. I like my full frame cameras but when my wife and I want a simple photo of us in front of something, this will work using my tripod, as I can frame the photo, give a bit of distance making the people and the background more spaced, get front to back focus, set the timer on the camera and get a nice photo. For the record I dislike and do not own a selfie stick !

O suporte para celular atendeu completamente às minhas expectativas. O produto é bem feito, com material de qualidade, se encaixa perfeitamente na base (um tripé para máquinas fotográficas). O manuseio demanda girar algumas roscas para encaixar o celular, o que é ligeiramente mais trabalhoso do que simplesmente conectar o aparelho ao suporte, mas é um processo bem simples também e o celular fica bem preso. Ele gira em diversas direções, conforme descrito pelo vendedor. Gostei muito. (Pretendia usar também com um tripé de mesa, mas não deu muito certo, porque o tripé fica instável devido ao peso do celular junto com o suporte. Meu tripezinho não tem uma base muito ampla e isso dificulta o equilíbrio do conjunto. Acredito que se a sua base abrisse um pouco mais daria certo. Mas o problema aqui não é do suporte, e sim da relação entre as duas peças. Assim, se o objetivo for usar com um tripé de mesa, essa questão da relação de equilíbrio entre as duas peças deve ser considerada, porque pode ser um problema.)

Ich nutze die Halterung vor allem für Foto- und Videoaufnahmen, nicht als Dauerlösung oder Outdoor-Rig, dafür ist sie aber absolut überzeugend. Kein Schnickschnack, keine unnötigen Features, einfach ein solides Werkzeug. Too many knobs for adjistment. I have this tripod mount and the one from their main competitor (starts with "U"). The U version has just about the same range of motion and adjustments while using just one knob. The U version also has a more solid feel to the part that holds the phone. This clamp is way over engineered. The one upside is it can actually be balanced to him the phone without a tripod.
