Did anyone's bone not make sound when pushed ? Does that mean it's broken ?

Its probably fine the bone on the package is just a sample of the sounds the dog will make. Battery could be bad. If the dog itself doesn't work just return it.

I ordered all 3 for my granddaughters, but the outside of all three pkgs show a dalmatian? How do I tell which is a pug, dalmatian and husky?

Not sure but I specifically ordered a husky and it was a husky inside. I don't remember what the packaging was. Maybe see if there's anything in the small print on the label.
