Great gun for the money
I bought this to add to my growing collection of Ryobi One 18v tools. I used it on hardwood and then Hardie Board cement trim. It worked flawlessly on thebwood, but had a few misfires on the Hardie. I determined that it was my own fault due to my not holding it firm against the trim which allowed it to bounce and the last 3/3" of the nail bending over. As long as I held it firmly to the cement trim, it worked very well. Very satisfied!

Love this.
Great for window trim. It’s a little heavy and bulky. But so much better than dragging hose around! I went with the 16 as I thought it would be a good compromise between the 18 and the 15 so I did not have to buy two. So far I’m really liking it. I like how it uses air provided by a little pump on board. I genius design. Others use a fly wheel. Noisy and it has to spin up. Others use those gas cylinders which smell and cost a fair amount. This is just like an air powered. Very smart design.

Very annoying to use. Just get a neumatic nailer
About half the time I would pick up the tool it would just flash the lights and refuse to work. You need to re-seat the battery before it would fire again. I used several different genuine Ryobi batteries with it, including a fully charged 4ah, but I kept getting the flashing lights. The hammer would also regularly get stuck fully extended and failed to reset for the next nail. There is a square metal piece attached to the hammer near the business end that you need to manually push back into the tool to reset the hammer, but it would misfire once or twice afterwords before it would start driving nails again. Incredibly annoying to use. It made my project a lot harder and take longer than if it had just worked.

Big yes on this nail gun.
Bought this gun to install 3/8” hardi fascia. Used 1 1/2” stainless steel nails. Gun worked great. Absolutely a great investment.

Impressive quality.
We purchased this after our old nailer died and we were facing a big home project. It is not the lightest tool, but it certainly is easy to load, easy to use. Of course, you need to purchase specific sizes of nails to fit this nailer....and it may not be the most popular size. I don't know of any nailers out there that can accommodate a large range of nails I have small hands, but I find it easy to hold the nailer gun and use it, although I don't think I could hold this nailer and use it steadily for hours at a time, but since we would use it for projects where you are nailing pieces intermittently....only needing it for less than 30 minutes at a time, and for those circumstances, this nailer is perfect. It takes a rechargeable lithium battery (Ryobi brand only.), which makes the nailer a lot lighter than the old nailers. You can also use a smaller lithium battery than the one we have which would decrease the weight. Overall, we are very happy with this finish nailer.

As advertised and quick shipping.
They were on the ball with shipping. It came before their eta. I had to wait a few days before my batteries arrived (from elsewhere) before I could review. It handles 3/4' and 1.5' brads equally well. Easy to adjust depth. I built a portable chicken coop with it. No problems at all. No complaints. It does what I wanted it to. Battery seems to last forever.

Bought this after I had been using the 18 guage for 6 months and have now bought the 15 guage. Never had a problem with any of them, highly recommend to anyone thinking of getting a nail gun.
