Easy to spread around due to the squeezy bottle and narrow hole in the lid..
This flea killer powder comes in a squeezable bottle with a screw on lid. Removing the lid reveals a top with one hole in the middle which allows easy application in either expelling powder in concentrated areas or puff out a plume of powder dust to cover larger areas where a high concentration isn’t needed. There isn’t any fragrance to the smell, and it smells ok when treating large areas. My dad has two small dogs which have fleas at the minute, so I went round and treated all their carpets with this and fitted flea collars to them. After treating four small rooms, I’ve used just over half of it, so the rest would last for another treatment in which it recommends doing it in three days’ time. I went round again and treated the rooms again and my dad has said that there is reduction in the amount he found on his dogs so the treatment, along with flea collars, seems to be working. I will have to purchase some more if the second treatment doesn’t completely get rid of them but there is a reduction in numbers just after one treatment. In conclusion, it’s a little too early to say if this will completely eradicate the fleas but from the first treatment, the results sound promising…

Aviro Flea Powder For Carpets
So we put this down to treat our house after our Cat brought in some unwelcome visitors. It was hard to tell whether it worked or not as we still had them after using the powder. I noticed some dead fleas but it was obviously not 100% effective so that is a red flag. I would not therefore recommend this - instead we have invested in more expensive spray from our local pet shop.

Not the clearest directions but the stuff definitely does work!
The “Flea Powder For Carpets” from “Aviro” is an easy-to-use flea powder that can be applied straight onto your carpet every two-to-three days until the circle of fleas has been ended, to keep the nasty little fleas away for good.Firstly, and most importantly, this flea powder is made from purely natural ingredients (Chrysanthemum extract) and doesn’t contain any harmful poisons or the like. Indeed, when you apply this stuff onto your carpet you don’t need to exit the room, but rather you can continue using the space (and so can your pet). It’s not entirely clear on the packaging or the Amazon listing what you’re supposed to do after the powder has been applied to your carpet. Obviously, you’ll want to leave it on for quite some time. It does state that UV light will break it down after 2-3 days. However, do you really want the white powder all over your carpet for this amount of time? Furthermore, it says after 2-3 days you should reapply until the fleas are gone! So, you’ll constantly have white powder over your carpet. What we’ve been doing in putting the stuff down late in the evening and then the next morning vacuuming it up. However, thus far we’ve not totally eradicated the fleas our dog, so this might not be the correct way of using the stuff. However, it does seem to be working to some degree as the house isn’t infested. We just don’t seem to be able to completely get rid of them!We did however do a small experiment. We used a flea comb on our dog and collected together what must be 20-30 fleas into a zip-lock sandwich bag. We then put a squeeze of this stuff in the bag with them. After 10-minutes I’d say around a third of them had died. There were quite a few that we kind of stunned or something…but started to move when I shook the bag. After 30-minutes almost all of them were dead. And after an hour the bag was a flea graveyard. So, I can confirm that this stuff definitely does work.
