Propane wasn’t staying lit and making a popping noise. Thought it was the valve but after disassembly, the original burner tube was rusted out. Replaced it and it wouldn’t light. Turned out the spark module wasn’t far enough away. After a slight adjustment, the burner lights every time on the first spark and the flame is perfectly tuned.

We were very surprised to find that element was a match to a 2005 5th wheel trailer. Thanks refrigerator works great now

I bought two of these burners to replace a 30 year old burner on a Norcold 682 R.V. Fridge. The replacement part fit and it appeared to be compatible with the original burner. Upon replacement, the fridge would no longer cool on LP gas. I believed the flame on the replacement burner wasn't hot enough to boil the refrigerant solution. I bought a second burner and replaced it again. The fridge still wouldn't cool. A local RV Repair shot had an original OEM burner in his inventory and sold me a genuine Norcold burner. The fridge works again. Don't throw away your old burner. Unscrew the orifice fitting from the stainless steel burner tube in case your new burner isn't hot enough. You may be able to use the old orifice fitting on the new stainless burner tube. I'll save the Amazon burner with this in mind if the newest burner starts failing several years down the road.

Installed and ignited. I gave it 4 stars because the flame is low compared to the OEM. Time will tell if it's enough heat to properly cool my unit.

Bought this replacement burner when my fridge after 12 years failed to cool on propane after as well as it did on electric. This burner appears very well made and fit well. Burner lit easily but still did not cool properly. The flame appeared to be smaller than that of the original burner. Comparing the orifices, the size appears smaller. The original was marked 15 and this replacement is unmarked. The orifices are a slit, not a round hole, so I can only go by appearance rather than use a wire gauge. I have since removed the small amount of rust from the burner slots of the original and performance is improved but not to an acceptable level. My next step is to thoroughly flush the jet orifice with solvent and retest. Then try a factory original replacement if necessary.

I have rotted out three of these plated carbon steel burners in the past. This one is actually stainless! Thank you Jesus!
