Why did you pick this product vs others?: I chose this item for an eight year old birthday gift! He likes Minecraft and I thought this would nice for him to use daily. Alarm clock: The color is a nice green. The plastic is okay. It could have been a little better quality. Look: It looks nice because it does look like Minecraft. Functionality: It’s a practical gift. I don’t know how easy it will be to use? I’m giving the gift to the grandparents to give to the birthday boy. I don’t know yet how the sound quality will be? I did not hear from the recipient yet. Readability: Numbers are big enough to see.

This is battery operated so it can be carried and placed anywhere. There is no need for a plug. The alarm works and it is easy to program, turn on, and off. The little light up creeper is great for a quick nightlight look. The numbers also light up the screen so it can be seen in the dark. It plays a cute little Minecraft noise for the alarm and my nephew truly loves his. It's traveled from room to room as he carries it in the mornings and evenings to different rooms. It's not heavy at all and pretty light when carried. The display size is large, enough to read it from across a bedroom. It's not the loudest alarm, but it works.

We were needing a birthday present for my son's classmate who is a Minecraft fan. We wanted something that wasn't the usual fare available locally and fun for the child. This item fit the bill perfectly! I was concerned that it might be too small and thus unimpressive, but the item is as described and the birthday kiddo loved it. Now my son wants one too!

Good quality clock that has a pretty loud alarm. The only issue my kids have is that it freezes before the batteries are completely dead.

Was looking for Minecraft item that I have not seen in store for my grandson. The digital alarm clock is well lit. Can be used as night light. The size was bigger than expected.

Just got it in the mail and set it up. Already I can say that the character doesn't light up and it's definitely made of cheap plastic. I don't think it's worth the price because of the obvious low quality and the already apparent defects. It also sounds like there is something inside it that broke and is now rattling around in the base. Also, the alarm volume is really quiet, and it's even more muffled due to the speaker being on the bottom of the base. All things considered, it's low quality makes it a $5 alarm clock that they've overcharged for due to it being a "Minecraft" item. Will be returning.

A little challenging to set up initially, one day the alarm wouldn’t stop and I ended up having to nearly break it. The mini screw where the batteries go was super hard to get loose.
