Great value for money
Got this for my 5 year old as she requested a robot for christmas. Although it is small in size it was easy for her to put together - with a little help from her dad. Her favourite part was the stickers.Overall the bee works brilliantly and we were excited to find that others can be bought and used to turn the bee into a Caterpillar!

It broke as soon as I took it out of the box

Not much fun to play with
Bought the bee and the ladybird for my nieces, aged 6 and 8. The 6 year old required assistance following the instructions and they both required help clicking some of the pieces together. The whole click into place aspect is harder than expected and taking pieces apart again when needed is even harder.However the most frustrating aspect is that the bee wouldn’t walk. The legs moved properly when it was switched on and held in the air, but irrespective of what surface we placed it on (table, carpet etc.) it wouldn’t move forward.We checked several times that the legs were placed on correctly - which they were - so there was no obvious fix for the problem. Whether this is because the batteries came near dead, or a design fault, or something else I don’t know - but it was a disappointing outcome and both bugs were abandoned soon after because of this.
