On the go busy board
I grabbed the Esjay Toddler Busy Board Montessori Toy for Girls because toddlers are energy in human form and I needed something to channel that chaos into productivity. This busy board actually delivers. This thing hits Montessori vibes without pretending it’s a spaceship cockpit. It’s got all the little doohickeys and gadgets that toddlers love to poke at—locks, latches, switches, wheels, and more—so they’re literally learning fine motor skills while you don’t have to single-handedly entertain them for five straight minutes. The quality feels solid. Pieces aren’t flimsy junk that disintegrate the moment a kid looks at them sideways. Everything is smooth, well-made, and safe, which is big because toddlers will try to eat everything. The board teaches real skills: hand-eye coordination, problem solving, patience (a rare gem), and focus. It’s like sneakily outsourcing teaching while your toddler thinks they’re just playing. That’s peak parenting efficiency. Size is toddler-friendly—small enough for little hands, big enough to keep them engaged. Colors and components are eye-catching but not migraine-inducing. It’s portable too, so you can toss it in the car or bring it to grandma’s and look like a genius without trying. Overall, this busy board is practical, educational, and actually fun for toddlers. Five stars because it does what it promises and makes parenting just a teensy bit easier.

Zipping and snapping through the fun in learning!
Zips! Buttons! Puzzles! Oh my! This busy board is bursting with hands-on fun to keep my grandson's tiny fingers and curious mind happy for hours! Learning to tie, snap, match, and count his way to big kid skills! The busy board is a colorful, soft felt and easy to carry anywhere; however definitely designed for children 3 and up! Well made and the function of each piece 'stay put' nicely, till the next session of play... learning! Nice price for a long journey of fun! While we love this so much... I didn't find any place to 'order replacement pieces.' This is the reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5. The activity works very well, however kids will be kids, and often pieces are misplaced. If that becomes your issue... I only find that one is able to 'replace' by purchasing a whole set again. I would appreciate an opportunity to buy possibly a 'page' replacement if needed.

Esjay Toddler Busy Board
he Esjay Toddler Busy Board is a thoughtfully designed Montessori-inspired sensory toy that keeps little hands and minds engaged while building key developmental skills. After several sessions of play, here are the highlights and a few considerations: Pros Excellent Fine Motor Practice The board includes zippers, buckles, laces, snaps, and other everyday fasteners that help toddlers strengthen hand–eye coordination and dexterity. Each activity feels purposeful and age-appropriate. Educational Alphabet Theme The blue alphabet design adds an extra layer of learning. The letters are bright and clear, encouraging letter recognition and early literacy in a playful way. Travel-Friendly Design Lightweight and portable, it folds like a soft briefcase with handles. It’s perfect for keeping a child entertained on car rides, flights, or even while waiting at appointments. Safe and Durable Materials The stitching is secure, the materials are soft yet sturdy, and there are no sharp edges. It feels built to withstand energetic toddler play. Cons Small Parts for Younger Toddlers Although rated for ages 3+, some fasteners and detachable pieces may require supervision if a younger sibling is around. Learning Curve for First Use A few of the buckles and laces can be tricky at first, so expect to guide your child initially. Overall Impression The Esjay Toddler Busy Board is an excellent gift for curious kids and a reliable travel companion for parents. It combines fun with skill-building—fine motor practice, problem solving, and early ABC recognition—making it well worth the investment for families with preschool-aged children.

Great for traveling
My two year old was excited about this the second I opened it. A few of the pages don't come put together. You have to take the pieces apart and attach the adhesive velcro dots to them. Easy to do, just a little time consuming. So many activities to keep little ones occupied. Helps with motor skills and sensory play. We've used this in the car. Easy for my son to hold and play with. It's lightweight. Easy to store. Glad I bought this.

Well made for toddlers to focus on each page and learn! My baby girl(15month old) can focus on a bit and I’m sure she will spend more time as she grows.

My mom kept talking about a doll she had when she was a kid that thought how to zip, tie and buckle, couldn't find the doll but found this. My son likes it, but what I think would make it easier for him with the buckling would be more slack, he has no problem putting the buckles together on a helmet or something similar, because he can maneuver the straps. I love it and I know he'll grow into learning it better as he grows. A 5 for longer straps, overall great.

Based on other reviews and looking at other similar products I had *reasonable* hopes for this thing. I basically wanted something that my friends kid could interact with so he wouldn’t be so interested in turning off my laptop. The kid is 21 months and I stg the first thing he did when I pulled out my laptop at her place was do a drive-by and DIRECTLY hit the power button. He also likes zippers and hoodie strings so I was excited about this but honestly the pieces are fragile, the buckles are way too tight to be advertised for 1 & 2 year olds and overall I feel this product did not deliver what was advertised.
