Delivery was poor but product is good

I'm a total beginner, having inherited my Grandad's violin via my late Uncle. After research, I realised that a shoulder rest would be best, I chose this because of the good reviews and price.It didn't disappoint, so I can now have freedom to explore the fingerboard, without having to rely on my thumb for balance.

For less than ten quid and with a mute (normally 4 or 5 quid on its own) you really can't complain. It's not that sturdy, the foam is spongey enough and more comfortable that playing without a rest anyway. If you're looking for the best rest you've ever used and want to keep it for the rest of your life (no pun intended) then this probably isn't the one for you....for a part time player as a hobby its perfect for what I want to use it for.

Perfect shoulder rest for my full size violin. Very light and clips on easily. Very easy to adjust to suit. I love its sleek look and all black finish. The shape of the rest is perfect for me. Very comfortable. Overall an excellent product, well packaged and with the lovely touch of a small note from the company that made me smile :)

Pros : can be adjustable, work on a classical wood and electric violin.Cons : The foam is too thin and therefore the plastic frame reaches my shoulder which hurts.

Ho trovato la spalliera molto comoda da fissare al violino, semplice capire il giusto riferimento.Inoltre è regolabile in altezza sulle due estremità e la parte che poggia sulla spalla è morbida e non da fastidio.Anche il dispositivo da applicare al ponticello per ridurre il volume del suono fa bene il suo dovere. Ovviamente il suono risultante dal violino perde in dolcezza, ma è indispensabile per poter provare a qualsiasi ora del giorno senza disturbare i vicini.Per il prezzo direi che è il top

Non sono un violinista ma la maestra di violino di mio figlio dice che va assolutamente benissimo.regolabile in larghezza e in altezza in modo semplice e rapido. le posizioni scelte restano fisse senza spostamenti indesiderati
