Great read with so many amazing points
So I'm gonna be honest here. I didn't come from a dysfunctional family growing up. I came from an amazing family, a close nit one, that was until my mom got sick and died of cancer after that I realized how truly dysfunctional of a family I come from. My relationship with my dad isn't good and I don't know how to have boundaries. This book was a true eye opener for me it's a book that has really made me think about things and how to start my healing journey. The book gives solid advice that you can apply to everyday life. This book was told through stories of Nikki who her herself dealt with toxicity and trauma. The way Abrams does this is so good you don't feel like a child who is in trouble for getting into the cookie jar. I am really trying to get more into my self development and this book for me was perfect. I'm learning it's ok to say no and not feel guilty about it.(Unfortunately this is still so hard for me ). For me this is a book I will for sure purchase so I can go back through with my high lighter and write out my goals for myself. I am also going to be starting therapy in 2024. | have lot of goals for myself and this book is going to be the start of my healing process and journey.

This book The Conflict Queen will capture your Interest and keep it
A Very good and Easy read, I've read All Christy Abram books and this one is yet another Winner, haven't been disappointed with none. This book gives you direct tools to get through Conflict, how to approach certain situations with friends, Family while dealing with different personalities and using herself as an Example "Genius" The way this book is broken down gives you a chance to Understand what you're reading and gain knowledge especially if it relates to Self. I hope Christy continues to write because her Story telling, Advice, and Caring spirit to help others get through their trails in Life excites me to look foward to what's Next from herGet the book it's Worth the Experience!

A Book Everyone Can Benefit From
Because this book is written through story telling, it feels more like a conversation with a friend which I appreciated because it makes it feel more personal and relatable. The exercises throughout the book that help you identify bad habits and navigate through them. There were so many parts in the book where I could really place my self in Nikki’s shoes because I have dealt with what she was dealing with. There were so many “ah ha!” moments that were eye opening for me. Those eye opening moments made me have real hard and honest conversion myself about things I need to work on and change.

An interesting, informational book
This time of year can bring out extra family drama, so this book is extremely timely. If you need a little help this year navigating the conflict, “The Conflict Queen” is to the rescue.Christy Abram has had a hard life, and through much soul searching she has worked out some strategies – alongside some mental health professionals – to help deal with conflict in her own life. She has written this book to share them with the world. Considering how much hate and vitriol we see in the world today, it’s a great thing to see her sharing something to soothe that. Her tips seem sound to me, and I hope they will help anyone looking to solve conflicts in their life. I’ve heard a few of them before, while others were new to me.She makes it clear that her book is not a substitute for working with a mental health professional, but that she offers tools to support you on your journey. This is a great book to support you, and I know it will help many people. And it is one of those reference books that you’ll turn back to during different points of your life as you need it again.I found her use of a fictional character to tell the story as she taught the tools to be exceptionally interesting and useful. It was similar to the use of case studies, where you know they’ve changed the names, but it added a different dimension to the experience.Who’s It For?This is a book for anyone who needs help navigating family or general conflict. It’s designed to help you with your family, but could easily be used for other types of relationships as well.Content Warnings: Dysfunctional Families, Trauma, Mental Health, Abuse, Absent/Neglectful/Abusive Parents, and More. This is not meant to serve as a complete list of all subjects that people may find offensive or triggering.
