Formula has changed. Flavor is not the same. I’ve been buying this brand and flavor for about 5 years and this order the flavor is different and not good. So far no response from my attempts to contact the company for a replacement or refund. It was a great product until now.

I have this on auto shipment and I always use the scooper from the previous container so I don’t have to dig. They changed to a shorter scoop! The circumference is the same size. I threw away the previous container so I’m not sure if the nutrition facts changed but this current container still says 30grams of protein. The math isn’t mathing and I hate when companies switch things up like this. I haven’t been keeping track of how many servings in all the container and if there’s actually 45 servings in there bc I don’t drink it daily. Otherwise the product itself tastes fine I’ve been sticking with it for years. I haven’t tried many out there so I can’t compare but the taste is okay! Not chalky

This VEGA pea protein powder has been a great addition to my workout routine, both before and after. If you understand your body's needs and workout goals, this, or likely any whey, can be beneficial. For me, the function and price of this particular powder were the deciding factors, especially since it's affordable with EBT SNAP benefits. I appreciate that the ingredients are verifiably good and standardized. It mixes easily with water – I find this yields the best results as protein powder doesn't seem to dissolve well or healthily in milk. The smell and taste are both really tasty, and it's acceptably filling. The sugar content isn't overwhelming either.

I’ve taken protein powders (mostly whey) fairly consistently the past 15 years so I thought I could offer some insights. First the Pros: Mixes fairly well. You can mix with water and get a shake that isn’t thin. It’s also quite delicious in my opinion (I tried the Mocha). I throw in some egg whites and PB2 powder and it mixes very well. Now the Cons: The scoop… Whoever designed that scoop for this powder should look for another line of work. The scoop reservoir is gigantic and has a tiny little handle. So using it typically results in protein powder getting all your hand and creating a small protein dust cloud when you drop the contents in the blender. It’s very annoying I decided to take this due to the foul gas that whey protein powders create in my digestive system. I thought this might be a better option. Oh boy was I wrong. After taking this I let one go at the gym. I know, rude, but it is physically impossible to stop a fart once it’s started during a squat or a deadlift. This poor kid working out 10 feet from me caught a whiff of it and the look of horror on his face will forever be etched in my memory. What’s worse the reaction caused me to go on quite the emotional rollercoaster. The immature part of me was quite amused by the reaction but at the same time the polite part of me just felt immense shame for the destruction I had delivered to that poor kid. Anyway, if you’re looking for a different kind of protein powder because whey protein gives you horrendous gas, this might not be a good choice for you. If whey protein doesn’t give you horrendous gas, you’ll probably like this stuff.

EDIT BELOW: (For $100 and a container this size, I need at least a 12 month shelf life. I got one with less than 6. I have seen these in stores with over a year before reaching the exp. date. I am annoyed and inconvenienced to have to return and replace but I can't find the one I usually get, they always go out of stock. So the idea here was to have a huge serving size that would last longer. Obviously it defeats the purpose of it expires 6 months before I'm through it all.) Amazon fixed it when I attempted an exchange through the return process. I like the way I feel after taking this powder, more than whey or similar powders but it is on the chalky side. Flavor could be more evident I like to be able to taste the coffee flavor and it's minimal.
