Primal Canine Venison Freeze Dried, 14 Oz

Good quality - Tough bricks we have to break up small and hydrate well for our old guy since he has minimal teeth...but he enjoys it and no foodallergies!

I’ve been thinking about feeding my 1 year old boxer a raw diet for a while. The only thing stopping me was the time and money. I discover Primal’s freeze dried nuggets and thought I’d use them as a topper for his dry kibble. My dog is a VERY picky eater but now when adding these nuggets (either dry or moistened) to his kibble he eats all of his food and immediately after I sit it out. He also has a sensitive stomach, so I worried how he would handle the transition to these with his kibble. I immediately saw better results with his potty habits...something I’ve never experienced with any other commercial dog food. Although these are bit expensive, I plan to continue to purchase and use as only a topper. By using only a few per day they should last a couple of weeks. The money is completely worth it to me knowing that it’s good for my dog and has improved his digestive health. I’m glad I stumbled across these and look forward to trying some of the different meat choices.

I have three dogs and they all love the venison flavor the most. They scarf it down. For the lady who complained in another review about the microscopic bones in the food....don't you read ingredients before giving something to your pet? The ingredients literally say GROUND VENISON BONES. So it's no secret, it's intentional. They're not sharp, theyre not large, your dogs won't choke on these tiny little ground up bones. I have two 3lb yorkies and a chihuahua. They all do just fine on this food. Wolves in the wild eat bone because the marrow inside the bones is very good for your pet and they need those nutrients . Considering all the ingredients are ORGANIC and you don't have to make this food yourself, it's very much so worth the money . And it has apple cider vinegar and clay in it. This company knows what they're doing, prior to ordering this I would always add bentonite clay to their home cooked food. I'll order this again and again along with zignature Kangaroo dog food.

My dog loves these as a meal topper, king stuffer etc. They don’t soften as easily as some freeze dried products, but they smell so good I often feel slightly tempted to try one. They’re expensive- could never afford to feed them as a complete meal.. as it is we probably go through a large bag every 10 days, but consistently good and high quality.

We are picky, as to what we feed our furbabies and have beenfeedingPrinal brand for many years now. My husband frequently researches dog food ingredients and processes and Primal brand is STILL the best packaged quality dog food he can find, on the market. Ingredients are GRASS FED (which is a HUGE deal for nutrition) and no grains or starches!!! It also has essential fish oils already in it! Just crumble the large cubes and add warm water. Great for travel! We have to crush the cubes to almost a powder (takes seconds), or our dog gobbles it down too fast! Lol Many flavors to choose from and never a problem with delivery. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
