The Sherwood Oracle: Hidden Lore of the Wild Forest (Wildwood Tarot) Cards – 21 May 2024

I am delighted this deck has manifested for me! I have loved Robin and Marian's story since I was a child. The character cards are beautifully illustrated and the accompanying book encourages connecting deeply with the archetypes of the Robin Hood story. It is just a magical way to work with the cards and meditate on their messages. This is a deck that requires an openness to be drawn into a story and be guided to apply the answers to modern life. I will probably use it even more loosely for general meditation or just plain escapism!

After ordering this in March from the UK it arrived yesterday (24th June). The print quality is very poor which is a shame as I have a lot of Matthews' cards. Some of the brown drawn ones have been double printed. The bottom of the card has the image printed on it again. It's as if the card was caught in the print head and double stamped! Have sent it back and reordered. Will update this review when the next set arrives.
