Pocket Rough Guide Istanbul: Travel Guide with eBook

Off to Istanbul shortly and had been looking for a travel guide. This is a perfect size to pop in the handbag. Excellent tips and information complete with maps for each area

An excellent guide for our 5 day trip to Istanbul. Perfect size and being Abe to download the whole thing onto a home or tablet with a QR code is a great feature. Maps were very useful, though would have preferred more detail on the pubic transport system, especially trains and trams (the busses are too complicated…). Probably asking too much in a small pocket guide, but a little history would have been a nice feature. I would have happily paid a pound more and carried a few extra pages for that to be included, but that’s just me. It’s a great little guide with lots of useful information and very up to date.

I don't know if I will ever get to Istambul but reading this guidebook has certainly made me wish I could.

Word of warning, follow up recommendations with checking other reviews. I.e. Tripadvisor. Specifically with restaurants! Very happy with the book.

Product is fine. A shame the courier did not hand it to me as claimed, but posted it in an unoccupied house half a mile away, with no name or postcode connection to my address. Thanks to the owner, it found its way to me.
