Super Comfortable and stretchy
Very comfortable and lightweight pants. Breathable and stretchy. Great pants for summer tracking and hiking. Water repellent and durable. Very durable material. Side pockets prevent the cellphone and wallet from falling out. True to size

Nice summer pants overall
I've been wearing these Outdoor Research Ferrosi pants for several months now and they've quickly become my go-to for everything outdoors. What really impresses me is how versatile these pants are. They dry super fast when they do get sweated, and breathe well enough that I don't overheat on strenuous uphill sections. The stretch in the fabric gives great mobility for high steps and awkward moves. One thing though, I've already put these through several wash cycles and they start to wear a little bit The zipper pockets are actually useful (not too small like on some hiking pants), and I love that I can wear these from the trail straight to a casual dinner without looking like I just came from camping.

Great pants - waterproof and tough
I finally replaced my hiking pants which I had for 7 years with these ones. They were a fantastic upgrade. Light, water resistant, durable and good in the wind. So far they have held up on many multi-way backpacking trips and climbing 2 14ers here is California. I recommend them highly.

New “Ferrosi II” — Great! Sizing is different
I have hiked hundreds of miles in my old Ferrosi pants (3 pairs). Very comfortable and light. Very easy to pack when backpacking. Two things I didn’t like about the old style was that the back pocket didn’t zip and the pantleg drawstrings didn’t work for me. The new version fixed these issues — there is a rear zip pocket and the pantleg drawstrings work for me. I ordered the new version in the same size and I couldn’t even get close to buttoning the waist. Returned and ordered a size up (34 to 36), and that fits the same as my older Ferrosi pants. I ordered a dark blue pair and they will also make a nice lightweight travel pant (they don’t look like a dedicated hiking pant in the dark blue).

Functional but fabric pills rapidly
Very comfortable and enjoyable pant for all summertime activities. The only problem is that the fabric pills fairly rapidly so that the appearance of the pant is not good after a few dozen wearings,

Nice pants, wife approved
Went on a hike near Payson , AZ and these pants performed. Our causal family hike turned into a bit of an adventure as Horton Creek was the highest I've seen it in 27 years of visiting the same spot at various times of any given year. We had to cross the creek 4 times (twice each way) and us male adults had to help several family members across each time. I stepped in the water once and my foot got wet but the pants stayed dry. I also slipped and took a seat in the water and some water spilled over the waist. My merino wool underwear absorbed what little trickle came in but the pants stayed dry, thankfully. We got snagged on thorns, branches, bark, bushes, deadfall, etc and I was surprised to come home without any tears or holes. The drawstring on the ankle cuffs were practical for the barefoot river crossings where I hiked the legs up over my knees, although a hook to attach to boot laces would be a nice addition (my favorite Swedish brand has this and it's come in handy often). Pockets held my multi-tool, wallet, phone, and tissue and all stayed dry even after accidentally sitting in the water briefly. Long story short, some of us got to play "Hero" and the pants performed. Plus, my wife complimented the color and fit. I'm 5'10" and currently 183 lbs and the 32 fits perfectly - a little stretch so no need for the draw string. I've been lounging in these pants for a few hours now, too. Nice pants.

Extremely comfortable
Wore these hiking for 3 days straight. They are not baggy but fit snug and are extremely comfortable. I liked them so much I got 2 more in a different color. They also breath very well and keep cold air out even though they are thin.

To say these are cool and comfortable in summer is a massive understatement. Stretchy and very enjoyable to wear. These are very thin and cool, so definitely not for winter.

He cambiado la mezclilla por este tipo de pantalones. Más ligeros frescos y cómodos. Excelente calidad. Totalmente recomendables
