Highwave JOEmo 14oz Vacuum Stainless Steel Travel Mug

This mug is fantastic. It keeps my coffee hot and does not leak or spill. One push opens it and one push closes it and I don't have to think about where the lip is, I can drink from any spot on the top. This is my second one. The rubber gasket around the top of my first one is starting to wear out and it wobbles standing up because it bent after being dropped in the street... it did not open or leak! I like this new one more than the original because they made some nice improvements, such as a plastic non skid pad on the bottom and the contour around the top not only gives better grip but also makes it compatible with water bottle cages on bicycles. In response to some other reviews: Dirty top: It is quite disgusting what come out of the dirty top. However, it can be taken apart and thoroughly cleaned. Granted it may take a little extra work but it is worth it. No tea basket: I did not know it but there is a "tea" version of this mug. It's the one with the bright green button on top. That's what my original mug was. Final note: Mine did not have the carry case as indicated in the reseller pictures. This is not a reflection on the quality of the mug.

This mug keeps the coffee hot for a long time, and won't spill if you turn it upside down. It fits into even a smallish car cupholder. It also fits nicely in your hand, and the outside never heats up. Drawbacks, as mentioned by others, are that the lid is a little difficult to clean property, especially at first, and you will need a good brush to clean the coffee oils out of the carafe, if you care about that. The lid gaskets are nice and white when the mug arrives, but get stained quickly. The stains are permanent, but new gaskets are available -- again, if you care. If you don't care about stains, the coffee tastes fine even after the mug has been in use for quite a while without much cleaning. Even if you do clean a lot, I suspect a bit of coffee flavor would leak over into tea if you suddenly swore off coffee, and that's probably why the company sells a version intended for tea. Don't drop this on your toe: It's made of steel. I did drop one of mine on a very hard surface, and the metal covering the bottom seal cracked a little. The mug continued to function, though.

I've been using mine for three weeks now. I don't know why all the fuss about cleaning it. I simply rinse out the container, open the valve on the top, and back-flush hot water form the top end. I finally took it apart after 2 weeks of daily use and found... NO residue. It keeps my drink hot for a couple of hours,and I guess I expected better insulating properties, so that's why 3 instead of 4 stars. The one thing I don't like is that you can't empty the whole thing through the lid - there's alway about a 1/2 cup of liquid left over. I just pour this into a coffee cup - but I don't like having to hassle with it.

DOESN'T KEEP HOT COFFEE HOT, but it does keep my hands warm, which it shouldn't. Also you cannot put 14 oz in it and then screw the lid on it without leakage. If you follow their directions on how full to fill it, then you can barely put 12oz in it.

I really liked this mug except for one fact, and it was a big one for me. The rim of the cup had sharp edges where the plastic was moulded together making it uncomfortable to drink from. I exchanged it hoping that the replacement would be better, it was, but to a degree still had the same proplem so I decided this cup just wasn't for me and returned it. If the lip of cup was smooth I would defiantly have kept it as it was good to be able to drink from anyware around the rim, and kept my drink hot for hours.

I also have the Highwave MoJOEmo which is the 22 oz. size. This time I wanted a smaller, more portable version with the same unique push button lock at the top which I can't live without. When it's sealed, not even a single drop comes out. When I need to drink, I just press in the button and press it again to reseal. All with one free hand and no awkward fumbling around like with other poorly designed tops. And like the MoJOEmo, it keeps my coffee hot for hours. I seriously have no idea how you can improve this mug other than offering it in other colors or maybe a more atable rubber-ringed bottom or maybe a carabiner hookup somewhere. I'd never even heard of Highwave or the JOEmo until I found it on Amazon. I'm glad I did though.

Hard to clean but a great product and a no spill. Stays hot for a long time BUT doesnt fit under my keurig maching which stinks

Wow this is a well designed travel mug! It really keeps my beverage hot for an unusually long time. The design is simple with the indentation around the middle providing just enough grip. My favorite part is the lid and the fact that I don't have to drink from a certain side of the mug. I can pick it up, press the center button to pop it open and drink from any side without having to look at what part I'm about to put in my mouth - great for driving. Another press on the side plate or the center button pops it closed again. No dribbles or leaks. Highly recommended!

I've owned on for many years and after I dropped it and broke it I wanted the same one so I bought two more.

I've had two of these mugs. The first was a wonder (seemed to keep coffee hot for days) but eventually imparted a really unpleasant flavour to my coffee despite repeated washings. The second is a leaky mess and doesn't keep my drinks hot longer than an hour or two.

This is the third Joemo mug I’ve bought. They keep my coffee hot all day. I love the 360 degree drinking lip.

These cups are the BOSS! This distributor went the extra mile to correct a manufacturing flaw. Excellent all around!
