Anora Skincare Purifying Gel Cleanser Face Wash and Makeup Remover

I truly used to be the laziest person ever about my face care. I’d wash my face with whatever was around, I’d never moisturize and rarely would use sunscreen. Even with this horrible “routine” my skin shockingly did fine. Then suddenly after two pregnancies, my skin went crazy! Dry patches, hyperpigmentation, breakouts, visible pores, and just uneven craziness. I had no idea what to do! I was told about Anora by a friend (she has amazing skin) and purchased the fortifying active moisturizer, the eye cream and the cleanser. I have been using them for about two weeks and I have to say, my skin has evened out significantly, the dry patches are gone and overall my skin feels much plumper. A coworker even remarked that my skin looked great – which made me realize I hadn’t heard that in a long time! The day moisturizer is perfect for me for day and night use because I don’t like a thick heavy cream – I feel like it’s very effective without feeling sticky or goopy. The moisturizer and cleanser also smell amazing. I’m sensitive to scents, anything perfume-y leaves me sneezing but this citrusy light essential oil smell is fantastic. Because I am still pretty lazy, I keep the cleanser in the shower and squirt it on my clarisonic which is great because the cleanser also exfoliates along with the brush. Finally, I never really thought I’d use an eye cream. All that dabbing and precise placement seemed like too much trouble. But frankly, in my 30’s I need it! And this eye cream is great because it can go on your whole eye area including the lids. So I just throw it on before bed with the moisturizer and I’m good to go. I will try to come back and give an update after I have used the products longer but so far, I’m absolutely happy with the results and it’s so easy, even I can do it!

i’m 20 with relatively dry skin, this product only made my skin feel drier. would not recommend.

As a facial cleanser, this gel is okay, but as a makeup remover it is only moderately effective. It smells fresh and doesn't irritate my skin.Just because ingredients are natural doesn't mean they can't irritate the skin. For instance, natural fruit acids and even the orange peel oil that is in this cleanser can cause severe irritation. Reading the ingredient list reveals that this is not a particularly "natural" cleanser but has mostly very conventional ingredients like sodium laurel glucosides and sodium methyl cocoyl taurate, anyway.Finally, the price is much too high for 200 ml of so-so makeup remover. Micellar water works great.

My wife found it a good cleanser but not that great at makeup removal. It dries about as much as most of these cleansers do, so she did want to moisturize after using this. It's decent, but not great. If it were just sold as a cleanser, it would be very good.

This cleanser is a very thick gel consistency. The first time I used it, I pumped and pumped the dispenser to no avail. I took the pump off and squeezed some of it out to use. The second time, I pumped it even longer and still nothing. The third time, I thought I would give the dispenser one final time. On the first pump, the gel dispensed! It takes patience! Now the actual product is kind of fun. It starts as a gel, but when you rub it, it becomes a foamy/creamy consistency. It's really gentle and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin at all. It doesn't over dry my skin and it leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. On subsequent uses, I still struggle with the pump at times. I think a different type of dispenser would be better, but the cleanser is really nice.

Love the pump style cleanser bottle so I can get exactly what I need. I think it is easy to use (easy to wash off, no residue) and great value for the money. It leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. I use Kat Von D's eyeliner and liquid lipstick and I was able to remove both using this cleanser. It also removed my mascara on the first pass. I have recommended this cleanser to others.

I've tried several cleansers and I like this one the best. I've used this for a little over a week and it cleans as well as Skin Medica, but this one smells better. Other cleansers usually leave my skin feeling a little dry and I usually get a rogue pimple every now and then. So far, so good. I can't wait for my other products to run out so I can try their other stuff.Additional note, the pump takes a long time to prime. I thought it was broken, but the cleanser is really thick so it takes a while for it to come out. You also don't have to use a lot of the cleanser since it's so concentrated. Just one pump.

Great product for the price. I have been a bit cheap about specific facial skin cleansers in the past, but this gel is definitely worth buying and using. It is very easy. I typically use it in the shower or removing makeup and it feels extremely clean and light, as well as, gently exfoliating. I highly recommend the investment in your skin.
