This thing does exactly what I need it to.I’m a full time auto detailer and during the cold months my hands get uncomfortably cold. I use this to warm my water buckets while I’m setting up for a job. The wash ends up better and my hands stay much warmer. It warms a full bucket to steaming in less than 10 minutes and draws a low enough amount of power that my small generator doesn’t even throttle up when it’s plugged in.It goes without saying to not stick your hand in the water while it’s plugged in, but even when removing it from water the outer casing isn’t too hot to be able to handle.I would buy it again, should I ever need another.

This is my third one and it’s the fastest to heat. The first one worked well, but took 90 minutes to heat my big bathtub. The second one never worked. This one is by far the best yet. It heats up quick, so you need to keep your eye on it. I have a deep soak bath and can’t believe how awesome this thing is. Definitely, be careful with these though. I shorted out my first device when I wasn’t paying attention and the thing wasn’t completely submerged. So take the warnings seriously. These things work amazing, but you need to make sure it’s all the way in the water before plugging in.

Love using this for my bath tub, where the hot water heater isn’t enough to warm the entire tub, so use this for some level upWarming and it doesn’t disappoint.

Our water heater died on us and until we got it replaced this was a lifesaver! I had been worried about fire hazards after seeing a couple on fire in some videos but after a few cold showers I gave up and bought this. After carefully reading the instructions and making sure it was fully submerged in the water , as instructed, no issues at all. We used 5 gallon plastic buckets to heat the water to scalding in about 25-30 min and then diluted it to get enough warm water for a nice shower using a battery operated camp shower sprayer. We would use this about 2-3 times a day for about 3 months with absolutely no problems or rusting. While our water heater is now fixed this will be saved and put away in a safe spot in case of an emergency. I will emphasize that reading the instructions are a must with this and you must never leave it unattended.
