Super bright. Basically lights up the whole backyard. Easy installation

I bought these to replace an older set of floodlights. Installation was pretty straightforward. After installing and waiting for darkness, I must say they are really bright and look nice as well. For the quality and value, these can’t be beat. I do recommend installing on a round weatherproof junction box.

I recently installed a workshop on my property. I wanted motion-sensitive lights on the outside for security and convenience (easier to see the key to unlock the door with the light on than when it is off). I purchase the first one. I found it easy to install, to set the motion detection and to operate the light afterwards. I also purchased an internet-enable security light for the other side of the building as a comparison. After many frustrating moments with that light, I decided to replace with one of the low-tech, easy-to-install, well-functioning lights. The hi-tech lamp is sitting in a box to be sold later. As I said, I purchased a total of 3 of these lights because the are easy to use. One for each end of the building and the third for the lean-to attached to my shop. Easy-Peasy. I don't need the fanciness of internet-enable light. Just simply turn on when it senses motion and turn off after a period of time.

There were four of these professionally installed onto the soffits of my southern Florida home. The installation was fine, typical for this type of device. The operation was fine, as-expected for this type of device. Those exterior locations have normal protection, provided by the roof overhang w/ the attached gutters. So far two have suffered identical failures. The LED floodlight requires an electronic device to convert the 120VAC house voltage to low voltage DC for the lamp. These floodlights have a small circuit board, concealed by a screwed on dust cover, to convert that voltage. In both failures that circuit board showed severe corrosion on the electronics after less than 6 months of installation, w/ infrequent usage. The image shows that circuit board corrosion. These are not recommended.
