This is a great air curtain it keeps bugs out. The shipment packaging is really good. No dent no ding. The seller is doing a good job ensuring good shipment. The air is strong keeping the bugs out. I installed this on the outer side of my door and put invisible awning above it to protect from the rain. Guys put this on the outside has lot of advantages , you just need to put invisible awning above it to protect it from the rain.

So this is a cheaper alternative to what commercial stores use but is as powerful. Won't be unhappy.

Army of flies through the door into the kitchen after I installed this and left the door open to test. Seems like it would work were it not for a huge gap in center of fan. Even hung it a little higher hoping to minimize the gap but did nothing.Basically you get air on the sides but nothing in center. Even walking through the curtain you get no whoosh of air except the sides. Disappointed as it otherwise looks nice and isn't much loud at all but essentially useless.

That was my main reason for trying it, and it has made a noticeable difference. Installation was fairly straightforward. I did have to drill a couple of new holes in the mounting plate to get everything to line up with the studs, but that was not a big issue. I definitely recommend having a helper for mounting. My wife helped me, and with two people the process went much smoother.Once installed, everything worked as expected. And the unit looks good. The remote control is convenient and responsive, and the magnetic switch works great. The curtain starts up right when the door opens and shuts off when it closes, which is exactly how I wanted it to function. It is a little noisy when running, but considering the benefit of keeping flies and other pests out, that is a small price to pay. The noise level is not unbearable, just something you notice in the background.Overall, I am very happy with this air curtain. It feels solid and reliable, does what it promises, and has already made my space more comfortable. If you are looking for an effective way to block flies and improve air control at a doorway, I highly recommend this air curtain.

I installed it over the opening on a sliding glass door leading to my bedroom/ workshop with a nice garden and lots of bugs right outside the do. Has enough power to do a great job.Build Quality Generally goodNoise Level: Since it is my shop and I'm running power tool constantly the noise is obviously not a factor. if it was leading to a small room, it might be considered a little noisy.
