A brilliant book
The Runaway Children of Chennai is such a beautiful story of courage and hope. It’s also a great to bring to light children explotation and ways to help them through the charity Railway Children. Once you start reading it, you can’t put it down as you want to know the children encounter freedom. Thanks to the author for the fabulous book.

Based on real life
This book introduces children to the harsh injustices and inequalities across the world. It is sensitively written but does not sugarcoat. I’m really looking forward to book 2.

Left me feeling inspired
An exciting and heart-warming adventure story about two children who are trying to survive in one of the poorest slums in India. Rish and Mariam are both strong and resourceful, and they never give up hope, even when things seem hopeless. The book is full of action and adventure, but it also deals with some difficult issues, such as poverty, homelessness, and abuse. However, the book ends on a positive note, and it will leave you feeling inspired and hopeful. Perfect for middle-grade children who want to know more about the world.
