Once you start reading it, you can’t put it down as you want to know the children encounter freedom. Thanks to the author for the fabulous book.

This book introduces children to the harsh injustices and inequalities across the world. It is sensitively written but does not sugarcoat. I’m really looking forward to book 2.

Caroline Boxall does a great job of bringing the slums of India to life. I felt like I was right there with Rish and Mariam, experiencing everything they were going through. This book is an important reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope.
