It works.
It’s not the fanciest thing but it works. I got ran over by a car in an accident. Broke an ankle but that’s about it. Saved my life. Getting back on the bike now that I’m healed, I can’t see any reason to get anything else.

Many Nice Features for the Deal I Got!
I will say that I was able to get this helmet for 150 as per their on sale price so my opinion is a little biased in the fact that the photochromatic visor itself is worth the 150 on Bells website. I almost feel like the helmet is a steal considering that fact. So I wore an XXL helmet before this one and it was in fact loose after using it for about a year, but following the sizing chart I seen, I opted for the large which I wasn't sure would fit. It didn't hurt, but put pressure on my cheeks a tad more than I'd like, but apparently they make different size cheek pads as well for this helmet. As for the wind noise, it is noticeable to me, but still way better than the half helmet I was using and I cannot really say anything bad about it because of that as I would expect this in my price range and for a helmet with a photochromatic visor no less. The other thing is that the air ports in itself helps to keep my head cool in this Florida heat so that's also a positive. How many other helmets for 150 can do all that with mips? From what I've seen, not too many unfortunately. I definitely recommend people to try to look for deals on pricier helmets that might be within their price range because of buying this for the price.

The truth!
I bought this for the Mips and the transition shield. I really feel much safer just knowing the Mips technology is in the helmet. I also LOVE the transition shield. Here are my thoughts a month later:Mips - I really do feel safer with the Mips technology. I hope I never need it but it is reassuring just knowing it's thereTransition Shield - Best shield I've ever had or seen. I have really sensitive eyes and in the past have either worn sunglasses inside a clear shield or purchased smoke shields to block out the sun. Sunglasses can get uncomfortable and just add another layer to look through. Smoke shields work well until you get caught in the rain or out a little later than usual and can't see well out of them. This shield is clear when the sun isn't really bad and tinted when it is bright out. I wasn't sure if it would be dark enough, did I mention I have sensitive eyes? It works like a charm. When you're wearing it it seems like it's not working but I never squint and I see very clearly regardless of light condition. Thumbs up.Noise - I almost deducted a star because everyone is correct, it can be a little noisy at higher speeds. I even purchased the bluetooth intercom system made for the helmet thinking it would block some of the noise but it doesn't. The noise definitely comes from that area, as others have stated. However, I had an Arai helmet previously and it had lots of air circulation in it and was just as noisy. The noise is not overwhelming, no need for earplugs or anything else. It's just wind noise and I realize it's keeping me cooled. It's like any other helmet that offers good circulation if that helps. It is a good balance of both noise and breath-ability so I left the last star on.Size - Buy a size up for sure. I was really worried about buying the wrong size. I read all the comments and there were enough people saying buy a size up so I did. Really glad I did.Weight - After a prior neck surgery this was a big concern for me. I was looking at all the weights before buying. I knew ahead of time it wasn't as light as my Arai but that was an $800 helmet. I researched this quite a bit and in this price range it was one of the lightest I could find that still offered a great deal of safety and circulation. I will note that I purchased an HJC for riders and the HJC is a little lighter for what it's worth. However, it doesn't feel heavy and I don't even notice the weight when riding.Visibility - Nice big viewing area and as noted, crystal clear. It also has not fogged up yet even when riding when hot and muggy out. A+

Be Aware, Lining may not be the same colour and DIY needed to fix wind noise
These are good lids, I'm replacing my 2018 Isle Of Man version, order arrived quickly and the Helmet is ostensibly fine, BUT...the Image shows helmet lining as Red which looks very cool and is at least part of the reason I chose this design. What arrived was standard grey/black lining. I can't be bothered with the hassle of trying to replace it but see the image for yourselves, it does not look as good.UPDATE:Having used it a couple of times I found almost unbearable wind noise just from the LHS. No visible cause for this but the solution is reasonably straightforward; fill the triangular rear vents with something. I used a bit of white silicone sealant carefully applied. It's ridiculous that this should be necessary but having done it the helmet is now as quiet as any i've had at any speed. It's still 3 stars but would have been 5 without these two issues.
