Q: Do the plastic tips grip sufficiently well on round and small faucet aerators?

These are big grips and ot designed for gripping small parts like the aerator in a tap. These are for 2-3 inch plastic nuts like on a cistern siphon or the nuts to a trap. All that said, they aren't even very good for that.

Q: Do these come with the new tips on not the old style like others are trying to sell of! I’ve had enough of buying stuff to get the old stock

I can’t answer as I bought mine in 2018! However, if the product differs from the advertised image then you must be entitled to a full refund.

Q: Are these pliers the older model with the red plastic jaw inserts or the newer model with the blue and red inserts? Both types are illustrated.

Mine is all red jaw inserts. However I bought mine in 2018 so speck may be different now.
