Bought a rear wheel from Baldwins and came with a faulty rear cog I messaged them and they sent a new cog and removal tool The old cog is jammed on and cannot be loosened (see video) When I spoke to them on the phone they said they couldnt understand it but if it was at the shop they would remove it in seconds (Insinuating Im incapable of turning a cog counterclockwise) I have emailed and they just say "ring the shop" When I ring the shop they just say ring back when we have spoken to the person you emailed Going in circles and nobody has ever tried to get hold of me, its just left up to me to keep getting in touch with them So far a total waste of £50 If your buying a bike or something from Baldwins as a gift for a child or partner/friend and it comes faulty, be aware if you have the same experience as I have, the customer service is poor and its unlikely you will get the repairs done in time for the birthday or christmas present etc... They have offered me to send the wheel back for 'inspection' or refund...which means I have to buy a box to send back, wait in for pick up and as I need the bike everyday it leaves me without transport so then I have to pay for public transport and add extra time to my day All this could have been avoided if they checked the wheel before sending
