I ordered this 2 pack the day AFTER I spent over $30 for a 2 pack from a yo-yo website. This set is a much better value as it not only costs less, but it also comes with a case and some tools, which were not included in my $30 set.My 9 year old has been playing with these ones everyday since they arrived in the mail a week ago. I cannot believe how much success he’s had in picking up new skills and tricks, and I attribute that partially to his persistent character, but also to the high quality of the yo-yos. The instructions were decent enough to get us started but we soon looked up some generic video instructions online to learn the bind and some other techniques.Both these yo-yos can be changed from responsive to unresponsive. The extra pieces are stored in a little ziplock baggy and we keep that in the included zipper case. Speaking of the zipper case, it’s really cool how there are foam cutouts to hold the yo-yos. I’m a fan of everything about this order.

This was the favorite present for our 12yr old's birthday this year! She has had Yoyos before, but could not really get them to come back up, they either kept on spinning or they came up sideways. This yoyo set is great for beginners. It is well balanced, returns easily and straight up. It comes in a set of two yoyos with multiple replacement strings of different colors. It also comes with longer axles, so that once she becomes better at it, she can make the yoyo more "unresponsive" with a longer axle (advanced). There are a lot of videos on YouTube that she has been watching. Make sure you cut the string to the right height for the user!Overall this is a recommended purchase...great for a birthday present.
