Comfortable and Easy. Excellent Value!
My wife and I bought two of the medium size pads as a compromise between a more expensive pad from the same company and a couple cheap-o air mattresses from a big box store. Since the taller of the two of us is 5'5'', the medium size is perfect because it's exactly the right length for head-to-toe padding with no excess. As a result, packing size and weight are optimized because we're not carrying any more pad than we need.Upon receipt, I unpacked and inflated both pads according to the manufacturer directions. I was skeptical at the appearance of the pads because they're so thin, but I was promptly corrected when I laid down on them in turn. These pads are VERY comfortable for being only an inch or so thick. I turned left and right, and no part of me touched the hardwood floor underneath the pads. They were every bit as easy to inflate as the description says, and they are terrifically lightweight and compact. I couldn't be happier with these pads, and I couldn't imagine that the twice-as-expensive pads would be lighter and more comfortable enough to justify the extra cost except for the most serious backpackers. As far as I'm concerned, this sleeping pad is an excellent value. Comfortable, durable, easy set-up, and NOT $90. If you're getting your first "good" backpacking pad, this is an excellent choice!

Hope the pictures help
I was surprised by the lack of pictures. Who doesn’t like pictures to help you decide what it looks like that aren’t taken by the company. As you can see the pad is much smaller than a standard size Coleman sleeping bag. It’s extremely lightweight and is perfect for backpacking. As for comfort it’s not as comfortable as my basecamp sleeping pad by the same brand. That being said it’s half the weight and size. My son uses this pad and has never complained about being uncomfortable. I unfortunately sleep like princess and the pea so don’t use this one much.I mainly got this because it’s a 3 season pad which means it’s insulated and will keep the ground from stealing your body heat which is needed here in the PNW.It’s pretty easy to use if you read the instructions. After a few tests with a few errors I’ve perfected how to inflate and deflate. Here’s a few tips make sure the winglock valve is open which is how you let air in when self inflating and how you let air out when deflating. Then we have the nozzle which is open when inflating and deflating. Be sure to close the cap nozzle thing and the winglock valve when set up and when finished deflating to store (I didn’t close it and it self inflated in the bag). It’s a wonderful product that is really easy to misuse and not work but if you follow the instructions it’s a good choice. If you’re an adventurer that prefers a practical reliable of this is it. If your main concern is padding for aching joints and bones or sleeping like princess and the pea like me and need the luxuries of a nice comfortable bed I recommend looking elsewhere.

Best camping sleep ever!
Lightweight, offers great support, and does not go flat mid-way through the trip!Bought this for a three-day camping trip on the recommendations of avid campers. It worked wonderfully! It rolls up small so it doesn't take much space and it's lightweight. We were able to drive up to our campsite for this particular trip but I would see no issue using this for a short bike-in or hike-in trip.It only required one large breath at the end (or two smaller ones, your choice) and I was set for the trip. I did add a breath after the first night but that was just as an added security for myself.Best camping sleep ever! It was comfortable to sleep on and not once in my sleep did I feel the floor beneath me. My camping buddy had a cheapy pad that was 1/2 the price of this one and he paid the price in loss of sleep since his fell flat mid-way through the night, each night we were there (going in the trash before our next trip!). I'm not going to lie, we started out with an air mattress that took up all the room in the tent and would have to re-inflate each night. I would not trade this sleeping pad for the mattress even if you paid me to!As someone just getting into camping in the last year and a half, this is an overall great pad. My only, small, minor "complaint" is the shape. I would have preferred a rectangular shape but this one tapers a bit. However, I would not trade the shape of this one if it means adding more bulk once it's rolled up.

Great Sleeping Pad
Keeps you warm, and comfortable. I find the firmness and cushion of this pad preferable to most air mattresses I've tried. A really great place to sleep while camping and packs down reasonably small. Slept on it for two weeks and had no complaints. Highly recommended.Aside, a friend of my reports that the valve is slightly fragile. If you are shipping or flying this sleeping pad, make sure to do so with the valve OPEN so that pressure changes do not bust the valve. I've not owned the pad long enough to encounter any issues.

Very comfortable and packs down well
I bought this inflatable pad because didn't like using the thick foam pads for camping, as they would not pack down small enough to put in bags and carry around. Well this pad definitely packs down smaller than my old foam bed roll does. It is WAY more comfortable than foam as well.I slept on this pad with my Teton 20 degree sleeping bag and didn't get cold at all and it got down into the fifties (I slept with the sleeping bag unzipped). It was nice sleeping on something so soft while in a tent, it made it really feel like I was on an actual mattress! The one night I've slept on this thing so far was the BEST sleep I've gotten while camping, and comfort is what really matters when it comes to something like this. This pad is a flat upgrade over the foam mats, as it's more comfortable and portable. I couldn't recommend this enough as a perfect upgrade over the foam-style roll-up pads. While packed down, it can easily fit within my dry-bags. It's probably as round as a football and just as long. This was my major gripe about the other types of pads. So far I'm loving this pad and can't wait to get back out there again and try it out some more.

Ligero, buen aislante y super precio.

Great product !
Went through a few of these in the same price range and some cheaper.By far, this was the best one. Easy to inflate, easy to deflate, easy roll and lives up to the description.Thermarest has the name recognition for a reason. Great product! Highly recommend!
