I picked up this Kenond feeder and waterer set for my parakeets recently, and overall, I'm finding it does a satisfactory job. One of my main hopes was to prevent my birds from accidentally contaminating their food and water with droppings, and this set does a good job with that – the food stays covered, and the water dispenser design is much more hygienic than an open dish. Of course, for the water dispenser, you still need to be mindful not to place it directly under a perch, but that's just good practice anyway. It also helps keep seed hulls contained better too. Both the feeder and waterer work as described, automatically dispensing as needed. My birds got the hang of using the feeder pretty quickly – I included a short video showing one of them eating from it. It's nice knowing there's a decent supply of clean food and water available, especially if I'm busy for a bit. The only real downside I've noticed so far is the bottom compartment of the seed feeder where the hulls collect. It slides out for cleaning, which is handy, but it slides out really easily. There's no sort of catch or locking mechanism to keep it securely in place. I find myself being extra careful around it. Aside from that minor design quirk with the collection tray, it's a decent set that performs its main functions well, especially in keeping the food and water cleaner.

This is such an easy feeder set up for our two parakeets. While bird seed isn't exactly "no mess" this does a great job of collecting the empty seed. Our 9 year old is able to change these, so they are VERY user friendly. Great set for any cage set up!

Never in my long history of Amazon purchases have I bought a product (actually two in the same box) that failed so utterly. The water dispenser looks like a great idea but the tray is too tall to fit through the cage grill. It must be reversed and placed inside where the bottle quickly becomes encrusted with bird poop. The idea that the feeder hangs on the outside with the resting bar inside looks great installed until you see it from the bird's viewpoint and notice the cage bars are between the feed and the bird. Unless you want to do major surgery on the cage that is a bit of a problem. I resorted to placing the feeder inside but the feed trough is too narrow for my cocateel to get to the seeds.

This is a great set of feeder and water bottle. The water bottle holds enough water and it is easy for the birds to get their beak into the shallow tray the water sits in. The feeder can be hard to put into place - may have to modify a opening in the cage for it to fit, but it has a tray that catches the chaff, which makes less mess when birds are feeding.

These are both such good products, the seed dish is awesome, no more seed husks thrown around the floor and the water dish is so much cleaner, I have a cockatiel that loves to sit on and over dishes that the water bowl was always contaminated with his excrement.

It took a day for the bird to get used to the seed dipenser but now loves it. The larger capacity means less changing and the husks do go into the catcher. The water dispenser works well. Be good if you could fill the water up from the outside as my bird is extremely territorial.
