I recently added the 7 Inch Nakiri Knife Asian Usuba Vegetable Knife to my kitchen, and it has quickly become a favorite. The German stainless steel blade is sharp and perfect for precise vegetable cutting, making dicing, slicing, and chopping effortless. The traditional wooden handle provides a comfortable and secure grip, although it might feel small for those with larger hands. The knife is well-balanced, lightweight, and easy to maneuver, allowing for extended use without having to use too much force. With some of my older knives I didn't realize how much effort I was putting in to cut things. And now that I have this knife, cutting up my chickens is so much easier. I wish I had this knife sooner. For its price, this Nakiri knife offers excellent value and performance, making it a worthwhile investment for both home cooks and professional chefs. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it.

I like the shape and the way they fit in my hands, however, I am left handed and the design faces away from me.

Good for sushi

I needed a knife to fill a need my other knives were failing me at, I was very unhappy with how my knives were cutting vegetables. I thought this knife might be too much but decided to give it a try, mostly because it looks really awesome. Oh my goodness, it is the knife I always needed! It slices through tomatoes like butter and does even better on squash, carrots etc. It also does a really good job on sausage as well. I am so happy to have found a knife that does such an excellent job. I will say it is a big knife and for smaller hands like mine, it takes a minute to get used to it and come up with the best way to utilize it but once I got the hang of it, it does the job better than any other knife I have ever owned.
