Western Chief Butterfly Rain Boot (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid)

My 3 year old loves it. She insists on wearing it even when there is no rain (last week we had to allow her to wear it to the mall on a sunny day). Been a few weeks, since we bought, very durable.The reason for not giving a 5 star is I haven't worn it, no way to know how it feels.

Bought this item in September 2011 for my grandaughter just before California's rainy season.The rain boots didn't hold up they developed large open cracks on the seams and cracks on the foot part on both boots. I contacted Amazon regarding a return under warrante and they told me they did not take returns for difects after the first 30 days, and I would needed to contact the manufacturer for warranties that extend past 30 days. They gave me the address and phone number to the manufacture and I called them. I was told by the manufacture that I must return them to the retailer (Amazon) for all warrante isues because I had not bought them from them directly. This puts the comsumer between a rock at this point, with both parties pointing fingures at each outher and leaving the consumer with the defective goods. I would not buy any Western Chief products in the future because of their policies and I have decided to limit the products I by from Amazon especially products sold by Amazon .com LLC exclusively because of the warrante problems you will have and their policy regarding return of defective goods.

Hi: While buying a different pair of shoes last week, I had my six-year-old daughter's feet measured at the shoe store, and she was an 11.5. So I ordered these from Amazon at size 12 (leaving a half-size to grow in). They arrived, and they are so big that she really can't wear them yet. Even with two pairs of socks, she can literally step right out of them. Otherwise, nice boots.

This was a gift for my daughter and she was excited when they arrived! Couldn't asked for anything else for her to run around in and feel comfortable wearing at the same time. The funny smile on the boots really made her day and placed a smile on her face at the same time.

My 2 year old daughter adores these boots. She already had the raincoat and umbrella in this pattern that were purchased at an outlet store. My daughter wears a 6.5 or 7 in shoes and the size 7 in these worked great. She has been wearing these a couple of times a week for the past month and they still look brand new. She is wearing these not just on rainy days but on the playground at daycare and they are holding up great. Overall, these are a great shoe.

I love the boots the only thing was that the pair that I received first were defective, after 2 months one of the boots starts to crack. I sent an e mail to Amazon and they send me another pair of boots next day delivery!!!Very happy after all.!!!

My daughter needed a new pair of rain boots and in our rural area the boots start around $27. I looked online and found these, great price and free shipping with a qualifying order. Got here on time and my daughter loved them as soon as she saw them. I was worried about fit; she put them on and they fit her. I think I would buy one size up if I were to buy this brand again to give her some growing room.

WC makes the best rain boot for toddlers and young children in my opinion. They super duper easy to slide on and off w/o rubbing while she's in them. My 3 yr. old puts them on by herself, as the rubber handles make it a cinch for kids to gain confidence by doing it themselves. High quality, extremely durable. We've even doubled up her snow socks and used this boot as a winter snow boot as well. Kept her piggies warm and dry all day.
