Pretty, solidly made - but for clown feet
I am a spot on, as measured by an Allen Edmonds shoe fitter, US male size 9.5, medium width, no quirks. This shoe would have been my start on "correcting" my running style away from large slope Nike-type shoes - I am getting back pains. I'll have to wait with this since the shoe I received was absurdly long. Sure, I like a bit of air in the toe box, but not a full inch extra. This was with semi heavy socks on.Weird size aside, the shoe is beautifully made, arrived prelaced, and the only shortcoming I could find - other than being made for clowns - is an absence of a pull tab. Really? That's not a lot of weight, and way more convenient than jamming your finger between heal and shoe to get the foot in. Please consider this for future models.Fit is otherwise snug, nicely contoured - haven't run in these, will update this review after getting a smaller pair. Hoping those won't be too narrow. Also plan to use these at the gym, regular "sponge" runners aren't good for lifting. From what I felt trying them out, they seem to be just right for that too. Here's hoping the next pair will fit better!Update: the new pair, size 9 US, fit me - snug around the middle but not too long. Clearly an odd shoe standard the INOV8 folks use, my foot is about a standard shape as they come. Medium width, decent arches, spot in standard 9.5 medium normally. So when you order these shoes (unless you know exactly how they fit) makes sure you order them with free return shipping.Otherwise, feel great, perfect when lifting - my ASICS were way too soft and squirmy, these are great. Haven't done much running yet.

Outstanding training/racing shoe. Best kept secret in cross training / functional fitness.
I have been a big fan of Inov-8 for years. From my first pair of trailrocs, to my 2 pairs of roclites up and over mountain races and then my x-talons during a mud run every time I feel confident and have blown past people wearing those slippery NB or Nike frees. I decided to ditch my cross trainers and try these for crossfit and my outdoor turf and track workouts. They really feel like I have been missing out on the f-lites, a very popular line by Inov-8 the f-lites are so versatile that when training they actually make you more agile and nimble on your feet, even for just weight lifting. My agility ladder speed has increased and I have even worn them on hardpacked trails when traning with weighted vests and sandbags foregoing my roclites for the first time ever! Sure these are not for wet, super technical or muddy conditions but I would not hesitate to even wear these on the trails or road given the right conditions. As with any Inov-8 shoe, they wear faster than most shoes but the company recognizes this as a trade off for such an exceptional gripping shoe, I understand that and invest in a pair every 1.5-2 years and get a bout 600-700 miles on my roclites and trailrocs. The f-lites since I use them every day in the gym I plan on them last a year or so. All well worth it because Inov-8 always is upgrading their designs and these new ones have the RopeTec technology which last years model didnt. GO FOR IT one of the best kept secrets in the market.

Light and airy! Great for daily wear and weightlifting/gym work
I've had these shoes for about a week now, and so far I really enjoy wearing them. I bought these as a daily normal wear shoe. I wear them to work, around the house, out and about, and in the gym, I'll come back to the gym later. The last pair of athletic shoes I had for about two years, which is about a year and a half too long. They finally began hurting my feet so I started looking for a replacement pair, and on a recommendation from a great friend I bought a pair of f-lite 195's and a pair of Roclite 312's.The 195's are very light and breathe great! The tread on them is great. They fit my feat great, and the toe is made of a great material designed to not wear down easily which I love! They flex really great which is something I look for since I'm on my knees working on stuff under desks and underneath stuff a lot. Is that enough "great"-s? I love the design and they way they look on my feet.-Squats and other weight training-As I mentioned before I wear these shoes to the gym. So far they are pretty stable while wearing them in the squat rack, and felt good doing leg presses.-Backpacking, Hiking, Rucking, and Walking-I have not used these shoes to walk over a very far distance, and am a little hesitant since the soles are pretty thing and don't offer a lot of cushion for a large person such as myself.

I think I found "the one"!
I'm a 50 year old multi-sport endurance athlete (boot camp, swimming, running roads & trail up to 1/2 marathons, triathlons) with some minor but nagging plantar fascitis, ankle, and knee issues (50 yrs old, remember?). I've been through various Altra, Nike, New Balance, & Saucony's over the past 2 or 3 years, looking for the "perfect" shoe for me. I think I've found it. After only a week (but a week of hard cross-training), This shoe seems to be the perfect running/jumping, boot-camp shoe for my feet. I gave 4 stars only because time will tell if my opinion stays the same. They look/feel like there's not much to them, with no gimmicky lacing systems or tread patterns like some other brands, but apparently this company has found the formula for less-is-more. They feel a little tight, but flex nicely to allow toe-splay with a great "locked-in" feel from heel to toe. I don't think I'll use this model for long distances, but if my opinion stays the same, I'll definitely try their road-running, and maybe triathlon model when my Kinvara 5's need replacing. I wish there were more retail outlets that carry the Innov-8 brand, because I would have tried them long ago if I could have tried them on first.

excelente
Es un buen calzado deportivo, dificil de encontrar en Mexico, son muy ligeros y la suela es excelente para hacer sentadillas y peso muerto ya que son antiderrapantes.

is easily the best training shoe I have ever used
This shoe - which I have had for 2-3 weeks now, is easily the best training shoe I have ever used. I used to wear regular running shoes, so take that for whats it worth. But for the cost versus a regular runner I would recommend these. In fact, I have told a number of ppl in my office, it feels like I am walking/running/biking/lifting on clouds, they are so comfortable.

traction is good, comfortable but material is too thin
Size was not the biggest problem. These shoes are identified as Cross-trainer , traction is good, comfortable but material is too thin. They will not last even three (3) months, very nice shoe but should be more resistant to the gyn.
