This extender works great and is simple to setup/connect using the app. I needed my wifi extended to cover my yard and shop and this did the trick. My home router works great but only covers the house basically. There is some yard and outdoor coverage, but really not much at all. Now with this WavLink, I have coverage 300 and 400 feet away with service.

Not only did this WiFi extender work very well and boosted my internet signal around my 9 acres, their customer service is A+! I purchased this at the end of November 2024 (over a year ago) and just recently realised that someone broke off three of the four antennas. When I contacted Wavlink support via email, they were extremely responsive and helpful. I fully expected to pay for a new set of antenna to install on my original unit. I was pleasantly surprised to receive this message: “As a token of our appreciation for your support and to ensure your experience is fully satisfactory, the seller has arranged to send you a brand-new WN573HX1 device.” Would I recommend this product and this seller? 100% yes! They went above and beyond where many others would have said I was out of warranty period and out of luck.

Works really well once I installed it I was able to have Wi-Fi access everywhere on my 10 acre property it's nice to be able to make phone calls and access the internet especially in a rural area

Overall, the Wi-Fi extender once installed does do what it should. I have a chicken coop with cameras that are a few hundred ft from my house and I needed service to run the cameras. I will say this was definitely not as easy to set up as they make it sound. In fact I did almost return it. The instructions are not very clear. Several of the links were disconnected and not working. Ultimately had to get on the phone and call someone to get step-by-step walkthrough. I will say that customer support did respond quickly to the email and did call back as I asked them to so customer service gets five stars. I do think it's a little overpriced for what it actually does also, it is rather large and bulky and there is no way to stand it up so it must be secured to something or it falls over constantly. Also has a green light on the cord that constantly runs which is a little annoying since I have this just outside the window in my bedroom on my second story to allow me to have good coverage. Overall I would say it's better than some that are out there and does do what I needed to do. I think I just got pretty turned off with how difficult it was to set up

I purchased two of these units. One for the house and the other for my man-cave. I configured the home unit with no problem, but the second one was a bit of a challenge. I tried all different modes and none of them worked. I sent support an email Sunday afternoon, and they answered it 10:30 PM my time. I believe they are in China. The tech asked me some questions on my setup and IP addresses, and I answered them on Monday morning. Monday evening he then told me that I needed one configure one router to AP Mode and the second one to Repeater Mode. After configuring and setting the password on the second router to match the first router, everything worked like it was designed to. My hat goes out to the Wavlink Team for the excellent tech support. Thanks again! 😊

Seemed to work the first few days, but then terrible signal. Ended up disconnecting and not using, too late to return!
