This pizza peel is super cool....with the long handle it gives you the pro feel....could be a little bigger it fits an 8 to 10 inch pizza.....but what the heck because most of the ovens on Amazon are made for smaller pizzas....five stars for sure.....

Works great. Don't be like me and use it upside down the first time. Works if you use it right! LOL!

Mine isn’t the same as pictured. It shows that it has 2 poles, one is an extension & the other a handle. It shows the shorter length without the middle extension pole. Mine will not do that. It shows the peel has a male end, mine has a female end and the handle also has a female end. The only way to use it shorter is to leave the handle off. Without the handle you can’t hang it because you lose the hook option and you also lose the padding. There is one extra pad that slides around & that can be used but it would be better if I could use the handle. It’s ridiculously long with both handles on. It reminds me of a boat oar. The rest of it is just fine. I would be happy with it if it was as pictured.

It worked great at first but used in a pizza oven as intended it loosens at the threaded joint because they use an adhesive that melts! A simple rivet would hold it or heat proof adhesive. The other issue is the rubber grip on handle becomes soft and stretches making it hard to rotate the pizzas!!$

If you have a pizza oven that can fit your entire arm, then you'll probably want to get this peel. Most standard peels are no longer than the length of your hand, so you won't be able to launch a pizza into a deep oven with them. And keep in mind, this peel is LONG, about the same length as a standard rake or shovel. It does break down because the handle is actually 3 pieces of metal that screw into each other, but you cannot make the handle shorter; i.e., you cannot simply remove one of the 3 sections because each section can only attach to the next one because of how the ends are cut (i think it's M-F-F-M).

Anyway, we like to grill pizza, which can be a challenge, both placing it on the grill and turning it. This Pizza Peel, which I'd never heard of but apparently my wife's always wanted, makes grilling pizza a breeze. As you can see it also works well in a conventional oven with a pizza stone, and I'm sure it'd work just as well in a fancy pizza oven. This is sturdy and crafted from anodized aluminum. Easy to assemble and quite well made. It's easy to put the crust on the grill, and also helps in flipping it over. It's also perforated, which apparently is a good thing. 5 stars. A really nifty cooking tool and highly recommended.
