Nice logs will buy again
I chose these logs because I hoped they would be less smelly than other logs. I was pleased with them. They burnt well and didn't leave me smelling too much like a bonfire.

Excellent quality: burns really slowly and gives out lots of heat
My one gripe was the quantity: I ordered 10 x 40 litre bags but short of putting the logs in a bucket and seeing how much water they displaced (which would rather defeat the object of buying kiln dried wood!!) it is difficult to know how much was delivered. There were certainly 10 mesh bags inside 5 larger white sacks, but I seriously doubt I have 400 litres of wood. That said, they burn magnificently well: a beautiful slow burning fire, giving out lots of heat. We love an open fire in the winter and with current gas and electric costs we will be having more this winter. My biggest regret is that I didn't order sooner before the price more than doubled. We are using much less of this wood than we did buying kiln dried from supermarkets, garden centres or DIY stores so it is definitely better quality.

Good product but pieces are larger than shown; you’ll need to chop them smaller to burn well.
Thes burn well but they are not as small as in the picture theyre large logs that youll need to halve or chop into 3rds yourself else that take an age to get lit and to burn. Good product just not as advertised.

If you want heat these are not the logs for you
These logs were sturdy and a good size however although they lit quickly the flame died down to just glowing almost immediately, They burned slowly but no real Warmth more like those bricks you buy to keep lit all night. Not what I wanted. I won’t buy these again. Assume they’ve got more moisture than stated. Oh well live and learn

Great for a small top up
The price of wood at this time of year has not surprisingly gone up. Also, I didn't need a massive palate of wood, but simply a top up. I went for the cheapest per litre option, which just so happened to be 4x40 litre bags at just shy of £60. For weight it worked out at 12.5kg per bag, so 50kg in total. You can buy a 500kg palate for around £350, so you are paying almost twice as much compared to bulk buying. However, if you're struggling to house a lot of wood, or if you just need a small amount, this is pretty reasonable. The wood quality is excellent. It is very dry and therefore burns with minimal smoke. It lights easily, so no need for constantly topping up your kindling. An expensive but reasonable option if you need a little wood over winter. It also arrived 2 days earlier than expected.
