Best Turmeric on the market
This is my favorite Turmeric. I have taken other brands and get the most noticeable benefits from this one. I can tell when I run out and don’t take for awhile. I have an inflammatory condition that this product really helps keep under control! I have reduced pain and bonus side effect is less cystic acne too! I like that a dose is only one capsule and so this lasts me awhile too. Sometimes I take twice daily dosing for added benefits. Packaging is great-I love the flip top cap for convenience. Will continue with this product. I use their other supplements as well.

Super high Curcumin!
Best Turmeric on the market. The curcumin is super high for one. My soreness is relieved from workouts & I sleep much better. I have tried at least 6 different brands, this one is top of all.

and several weeks ago he graciously suggested it might be a good idea for me to buy my own
I'd been using my son's supply of Tumeric Curcumin for the past several months, and several weeks ago he graciously suggested it might be a good idea for me to buy my own. : ' ) He was right, so I started exploring the different sources. Long story short: I chose Sports Research and Amazon and couldn't be happier. Amazon for availability and price and 2-day delivery using Prime. Sports Research for the quality of product . Sports Research uses the registered Sabinsas Corporation version of Curcurmin C3 and Bioperine (Black Pepper Extract). The Bioperine level is 2.5 mg which, from what I gather, is changed from an earlier 5 mg level. I believe that the 2.5 mg level is very effective and appears to me, from my personal experience, to not affect the quality of the product. Perhaps SR made this reduction in order to be able to offer this at an affordable price. I don't know this to be a fact, but I can say that this works !). Also, I noticed in reading other user comments that earlier versions used coconut oil. When I received my bottle, I immediately went to the contents on the bottle and read the following: "Kosher Gelatin, Purified Water, GMO Free High Oleic Safflower Oil, Organic Yellow Beeswax" Now, to be pefectly open, I had to look up "High Oleic" to see if we're talking a "good thing" or a "bad thing". The results: "High oleic oil is high in unsaturated fat, low in saturated fat, and has no trans fat. The large amount of monounsaturated fat in high oleic oil has been shown to lower LDL cholesterol (the bad kind) without lowering HDL cholesterol (the good kind). When LDL cholesterol goes down, so do the risks of heart disease, heart attacks, and stroke." Whew, so we're talking a good thing. I'm not exactly sure how the organic beeswax is used. Perhaps as a binder or filler or .... ? I don't know. I get the feeling that it takes the place of what is found in a number of other turmeric offerings: magnesium stearate, silica, silicon dioxide and titanium oxide. If that's the case, more power to Sports Research. One final little nicety is that their Turmeric Curcurmin is manufactured in the good ol' USA. Would I recommend this to a friend ? Yes. Am I having to "pay back" my son with my supply of SR Turmeric Curcurmin ? Yes. At least for a while. In a couple of weeks, though, I'll have to graciously suggest to him that he get his own supply in a couple of weeks. : ' ) Good luck with whatever choice you make, I'm of the opinion you'd be very happy with SR's offering.

Almost perfect.
I've had this for a couple of weeks now. I love the ingredients. However, if I take two of these in a day, even staggered out, I get the gods awful worst heartburn, and it never stops. There is nothing in these capsules that would cause heartburn, I'm not allergic to any of the ingredients. I've tried them with food, without food, drinking milk, drinking extra water, eating bread, etc. I can't sleep it hurts so bad. It causes no intestinal distress, just heartburn. So, that's why I am taking away one star. When I stop taking them, it takes about 18 hours to all the raging flames in my chest and throat to subside. When I take two again, it's back with a vengeance. So, I am taking one a day, and doing ok with it. I will try the two pills again in a couple of weeks. For now I am going splits with my elderly dog, one for him and one for me. I can really see it's making a huge difference in him, he is ancient, arthritic, blind, deaf, and hobbles around in a bit of pain. Since starting him on the one pill a day, (just mixed in his food) he's awake and moving around a lot more, he's happier, his tail is wagging often, and giving indications that he is not experiencing his usual levels of pain. I love the addition of the coconut oil, since I have been supplementing him with that as well. I do wonder what the issue is. I don't think it's the bioperine, because the last supplement I tried had 2.5mg bioperine in it. Very annoying, but I like these pills. They are HUGE, but go down very easily, and I am one of those that tend to choke on horsepills, lol. Update Dec 31st 2016. I did continue on the one pill a day for that couple of weeks, and went to the 2 pills. It worked out just fine. No more heartburn. I think I just needed to get used to them. They worked great, my pain levels decreased as my inflammation reduced. I could skip my celebrex and take these and would be totally ok. I also used them to brush with! I could get 2-3 brushings out of each gelcap. The taste is not good at all, lol. Stains everything in sight, so be really careful when you do it, and be prepared to clean it up quickly. My teeth are whiter than ever. I could see a difference with the first try and I used strips and those "whitening" toothpastes with zero success. Because of that, I keep doing it once or twice a week.

Best form of Turmeric I've ever used. I take it with Niacinamide, 500 mg of each. Seems to improve my energy.
