I have an 7 inch blade spatula that is 1 inch wide and I find the control not that great when ever I'm icing a cake or applying cool whip or whipping cream to totally cover an angle food cake. This Ateco 6 inch spatula has a very flexible blade and its over 1.5 inches in width. The blade is 6 inches long and the handle is a little over 5 inches long. I love the large nicely designed handle. It makes the control of the spatula so much easier. Its a great product at a great price, so I recommend this product to all.
