Take your Excel program templates to the next level
After designing excel program templates for any number of years I came across this fine book a few years back. This guide is great for anyone looking to learn excel in order to design strength and conditioning training templates. It is also great for anyone looking to refine their skill set in this administrative aspect of being a strength coach. The database concept for exercises has truly helped save me hours of time by using the drop down menu feature as well as the calculation of load when using percentages (the control panel concept). Highly recommended.

Huge Time Saver
This product does exactly what it is meant to do. I personally created my own excel spreadsheet for my clients and it saved me a large amount of time down the road. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. If you are a personal trainer or strength coach then I absolutely recommend this book to you!

Great for Beginners!
As a new and starting strength and conditioning coach, this book offers great and easy to follow details to create templates for programming and data taking. I don't know if it was intentional or not but, my book's page 1 started in the back of the book and the last page was in the front of the book.

Really helped me construct better looking templates that make it easier for my athletes to read. Also great to re-learn how to perform certain functions and add a few bells and whistles to you program. Thankful for this book and will continue to reference it throughout my career!

Great educational tool

Important information before buying
After reading the back of this book, I tought that buying this book would give me access to several free downloadable templates and information about creating your own training protocole.This book is for Excel beginner, those who have absolutely no experience working with this software. If you work in an office, you probable already knows everything in this book. It's an applied method to learn, by focusing on creating a training template for yourself.The book itself as good example for creating a sheet you can bring to the gym. It is also of good quality and in colors. But for me, the good parts stop there.You get 4 templates to download with this book in a compress folder. There are more example in the book but some of them have really small font and you cannot make of sense of what is written. All of those template are about making a training schedule. There is nothing about having a spreadsheet for 1RM, KPI, periodisation, training phases, etc. It's only about having a list of exercises for the day.Also, there are more templates to download from the website but you need to buy class first. The classes are roughly the same price as the book.To sum it up, I gave 2 stars because, for that price, the information on Excel is for beginner, there is only one type of template (training sheet), and there is no information on creating a program. You can find more information freely on youtube.
