Does the trick
The media could not be loaded. Looks great, works great. It's not going to fool anyone, but it does a great job of adding some cozy vibes and warmth to a room.

Great
Fits perfectly in my fireplace. It flickers so actually looks like real fire without the mess or danger. It is also a space heater but you can use the fire feature with or without the heater being on. So glad I purchased it. Very happy.

FLAME LOOKS GREAT.
The media could not be loaded. I had a gas fireplace that was WAY to hot because of the TV above it. Luckily it had a plug for the electric start, so I pulled it out and set this electric one in the same fire box! The heat comes out of the front and blows out so it doesn’t over heat the fire box and if you want you can turn the heat OFF which is awesome when you just want Ambiance!! It looks fake up close until you turn it on; Then, it looks real. The flame projects out of the back onto the firebox. The only negative is a hate small remotes because you can lose them but you can also work this manually! Sounds like a real fire but if you like crakaling, just turn on your Alexa fire pit sounds! 🕺Great buy for the money. Ignore the negative reviews.

Perfect if you love having a fire but don't love smelling like one.
We love fires for the holidays and during the Fall & Winter. What we don't love is the entire house smelling like smoke. So I've been looking for one of these for a while. I decided to take a chance on this one despite it being on the pricey side because of all the ones I've seen it looks the most like an actual bed of coals with logs. Let's start with the look: It looks amazing, even when not turned on. When it's on it's perfect. The bed of glowing embers with "flames" above them, topped with the logs just looks like a real fire. The rolling fire effect not only goes through the logs but also reflects off the back of the fireplace, which makes for a very realistic effect. We could not be happier with the appearance. It gives that cozy feel just as we were hoping. The heater is surprisingly strong on high and blows hot air quickly and powerfully. No complaints there either. As for the sound, it's a mixed bag. The crackling sound is nice & subtle on low, but on high sounds very tinny. This comes down to a small, weak speaker. I'm not worried about it because on low it sounds just right. On high my wife says it sounds like someone lit a fire in a tin can. I might replace the speaker with a better one down the road, but it's fine as is. A nice bonus in the manual is the back page is a schematic, which would make any repairs or upgrades easier. The wind sound is kind of pointless. I get what they were going for (a fire on a windy day) but the result sounds exactly like someone frying bacon in a pan. Not much reason I can think of to ever use it. Still, I'm not taking a star off for such a minor thing I'll never use. The remote is simple and easy to use. I guess it's the nature of the design, but since the remote sensor is tucked away under the "grate", you have to be sure to aim in the right spot for it to work.As I write this review I'm sitting next to the fireplace. I love the coziness of it, and every once in a while my eye catches the glow and my brain wonders why there's no heat coming off the fire. Then I remember it's metal and plastic. We really couldn't be happier with this. It adds the look (and mostly the sound) of a real fire without the mess and smell (first world problems, right?). I can't say how durable it will be but it feels solidly built, and other than the cheap speaker it feels well thought out. It's one of the more expensive ones...I've seen these for $100 or less on sale...but it looks much more realistic than the cheap models.

Great Looking Fire
I had not used my wood burning fireplace for several years. Just too much work and mess. I wanted an electric fireplace but thought they would be too expensive. I found this on Amazon and thought I would give it a try. Boy! I just love it. It has a fan that blows warm air which is nice. The best part is that I can use it when we have warm days just for the ambiance. I don’t have to have the fan blowing.

Wait for it
The media could not be loaded. This is our second year with this fireplace insert. It's lovely and the heater is effective! Just a slight mechanical noise. Perfect amount of light. Remote has not needed a new battery. Keep watching for our dog... b

Perfect Fireplace Substitute
The media could not be loaded. Great substitute idea for any lightly used fireplace. All remote, with timer for heat or flame only use. Fits perfect and good value. I highly suggest this product when out of logs or to avoid smokey wood burning fire seeping into house. Zero odor output. No dirty soot clean up or spillage on carpets or floors either. Thank you, it’s exactly what I needed for a year-round cozy room feel. 😀

Out of the box it was easy to insert into the fireplace and fit perfectly
Out of the box it was easy to insert into the fireplace and fit perfectly. I liked the design of the grate. I just loved the reflected flames on the back wall. What I don't like is the surging of the ember coals. I have NEVER seen a real fire pulsate. I tried all the settings and cannot make it glow steady. This makes it look extremely FAKE. The cord is Way Too Short. There is No Way you could possibly plug this into Any outlet near your fireplace and still be within code. So I plugged in the recommended #14 AWG rated at 1875 watt extension cord according to the label on the box. It Still got hot when I turned on the heater, even on low. I could just imagine what it would do to a household outlet on daily use. I didn't even get a change to feel if it heats up my room. I might have possibly consider keeping it but the surging is driving me crazy! Regretfully, I'm sending it back.
