great chew for your dogs
We have big dogs and tiny dogs and they all love them. There is no mess, not broken pieces. Their teeth are not bleeding are harmed like with other harder chews and they keep them occupied and busy. My little dogs make them last longer and they tend to come back to them over time while the larger dogs devour them in one sitting.

Not getting it again
At first I was glad to have found a cheaper alternative to pizzle sticks for my dog to clean her teeth. I didn't get suspicious about how natural this stuff is until I noticed the big stains it leaves on my carpets. So I looked into how this may be manufactured, since it definitely seems to have some sort of dye to it.So I looked into what beef chorion is. The package doesn't specify where or how they source it. I can be sources from bones as well as a skin layer, which is usually a left over from other processes, the same as raw hide. It doesn't seem like it can be obtained as a sheet or layer, as the product makes it seem. It seems to be meant to look like a rolled sheet. It also doesn't seem that chorion would have much color to it.The brownish stains make me believe this is made with a dye and something to make the chorion adhere in order to become a sheet that can be rolled. The dog is also not too much into it. She'll eventually chew it but not as eagerly as pizzle.Overall the secretive nature of the product and the mess it makes, plus the dog not being as into it is making me choose to spend more on pizzle again and not get a "beef chorion " product again. At least with pizzle I can identify what it is and the process is pretty clear too

Not normal
Very dark almost black in color, and smelled nasty.
