For the Money, this is a good product. Does what it is supposed to do

I ordered this thinking it was a home security device. But once I open the box, I couldn’t figure out the top from the bottom nor understand how it needed to be set up or installed. Still confused.

The light curtains work perfectly. Personally, I use the curtains to power relays. Than use relays for my control circuits. I have bought multiple units. One of the units had manufactured defect on one of the cables. The seller quickly sent replacement cables. At no cost to me. Great quality and great customer service.

It took a bit of research (and finally scrolling across the product page options) to figure out that the reason this only comes with the safety curtain bars and wires is because they sell the controllers separately (or in more expensive bundles). That said, it seems like a well made system that could be very useful in machine safety or security scenarios so I plan on ordering the $69 controller…you know, so I might actually be able to use this. Since I don’t have that control box yet and am strictly agreeing to review the product I ordered and received (and am going to have to spend money on the controller to find out how it all performs), I can’t actually testify how/that this product works. However, it seems very well designed, durably made, and is a great concept from the start…so, at least for now, I’m giving it four stars (I will approve it as five stars if, after ordering and receiving the separate controller that it requires, it works as expected).

Using this on a CNC Mill build works great.

You'll need to purchase more equipment to make this work. Great for industrial machinery that can potentially take your arm off, but not useful for the average home with a drill press or table saw. Sending back so someone else who has heavy machinery can purchase it to keep from getting maimed.
