This colouring book by Mia Blackwood, its rather difficult though but each picture is very rewarding for at the end of each picture you have a beautiful dog. They could be framed and hung on the wall they are so life like. Lovely

I love dog portraits and draw them myself, so I was thrilled with this book. It is definitely for the advanced and make sure you use good quality med/soft lead pencils and the effects are stunning. Mia has done a lovely job with this book and I would buy her books without hesitation.

I was sceptical because of some of the reviews, but wanted something that will test me when I’m colouring. I enjoy pencil colouring and wanted to be able to blend and create my own textures without having the outlines of the drawings getting in the way. Although this technically does that, this book just isn’t it. A lot of the drawings go over the edge, the pages are really thin, the drawings look like they took a stock image of a dog and outlined it, then reduced the contrast.

Disappointed with this book because they are just feint line drawings, without a colour reference!

Very good but be warned this one is VERY faint and if someone has bad eye sight they may find it almost hard to see the lines.

Read previous reviews saying the lines were too faint but this means that when you colour in it looks as if you had actually drawn it in the first place.

very good book it designs are very realistic and will be nice to colour.

i found the images looked like they were just photo copy of images in that had been printed in black and white this made colouring them just did not look right .
