this lock saved me, I was struggling to keep my barn door closed to my TV room. it stylish and blends in well with the door.

I had been looking for a lock that would work on a new screened-in porch we custom built where the door falls in the middle of large beams and not flush with the edge, so you couldn't put a normal lock on it. The only option I had seen was just a hook through a metal loop, which is not very sturdy or attractive. Then I saw this latch advertised that could basically allow a 90% angled install. So now, I can very securely lock the door, as part of this latch is installed on the big side beam, and the other on the door, then the arm flips over and secures on the other side. It is very strong solid sturdy metal that is easy and quick to install. And if you don't need the 90 degree turn and your door is just flush (180 degrees) this lock can be configured that way, as well.
