Purchased for deer processing. I only do two or three deer a year so i didn't need anything too fancy. These seem to hold and edge well and the non-slip grips are great. good value for the money.

I’ve been a butcher (meat cutter) for almost 5 years and I decided to get my own set of knives for work instead of using what they had. Mainly because no one ever sharpened the knives and didn’t have time to really spend on sharpening them. But, I do have to say these knives are pretty good for the money! I’ve worked with name brand knives and these are just as good! I have this set, and I’ve purchased 4 other knives from this company as well since I bought these in the beginning of 2024. So it’s been almost a year with these bad boys. The handle is very comfortable and I don’t have to sharpen a lot. And I cut quite a bit throughout the day. The only thing I can say is to be careful with is how you place them and be careful what is around you. And what I mean by this is using knives around them. Like I have accidentally nicked my other knife handles from just simply taking off silver skin off a tenderloin, bc they were to close near by. Other than that they are great. I just keep them away from the meat I am working on at the moment so I don’t accidentally get any dings in them. And to be honest.. it’s cool to actually own your own personal knives! Don’t have to worry about people mistreating them and can always know your arm isn’t going to be achy by the end of the day.
