Superb item - no problems
Reconditioned? I couldn’t tell - moved up from a D60 - OK so it’s old technology but it’s good technology - enjoying the camera and all my old lenses fit so no problems there. Highly recommend this route for an upgrade - the 12 month guarantee a bonus - can’t fault it at the moment 👍

Absolutely brilliant
I bought the D7000 DSLR as a foray into DSLR photography, thd camera is a treat to use. The manual that comes with it can be hard going, I suggest that if you purchase a D7000 then get yourself a copy of David Busch's bookNikonD7000. It is well written and well populated with photographs of the camera. He makes it very easy to understand.

Enjoying it
I wanted an upgrade from my D3000 and I am very happy with this camera. Still trying to figure out the new features but that’s part of the fun.

Out dated cameras to expensive
I buy from amazon all the time but second hand cameras are to expensive especially the out dated ones , I bought a d7000 from mpb in mint condition with super low shutter count for the quarter of the price as a walk around camera there are better deals out there .

Old tech
I owned this camera 12 years ago when I would have given it a 5 star review.12 years is a long time in the tech world and £400 is a lot of money for old, refurbished tech. It will capture as detailed images now as it would then. But obviously, tech has moved on.
