They are invisible. I placed them 4-6 inches apart so that my foot is always standing on 1 or 2 for secure footing.
These work great and easy to apply to the base of the tub. I thought I could use 10 on each tub, but I used all 20 on mine. It is different at 1st because we have used a bath mat and these are invisible so you cannot see them. I will be ordering another package of them for another bathtub.

Great product for a great price
Hubs has a problem with remaining upright in the shower. Not because of any medical problems or age, it's because the teenager in our household uses an obnoxious amount of shampoo/conditioner/body soap whenever she showers leaving a soapy, slippery film in the tub. Hubs has twice now slipped getting out of the tub. We tried using bath mats, which worked for about a month or so, but besides the fact they're just nasty on the bottom, they would shift when you stepped on them, which creates another slipping hazard.I love these. They have enough grain/grit to them that you can feel them under your feet, but you don't feel like you're walking on sandpaper. Highly recommend that you follow the manufacturer's directions and clean the tub bottom with an alcohol based cleaner (I used Windex) and make sure that the surface is bone dry.Pros:**Inexpensive compared to other products listed by Amazon**Easy to install/apply**Clear, you cannot really see them on the bottom of the tub (they don't stand out)Cons:**Directions for applying were not included, glad I took 10 seconds to read the complete description otherwise I would have not known about the alcohol based cleaner.**Clear, if you are going for a pattern or even just for spacing purposes, recommend that you space them out before you take the backs off. Cause once they're one, you lose track of them quite fast.

No More Slippery When Wet
I bought these after my husband slipped on the bathmat and "it almost killed him". Dramatic? Maybe a tad but we threw the "darn mat" out anyway. I really like how these stick to the surface of my tub, and you can barely see them since they are clear. I have had them for a few months now and they still adhere to my tub. They have stood up to my weekly scrubbings and are still in place. If you still are using a bathmat I would throw it out before you or your loved ones go surfing in the tub. It makes cleaning a breeze.

Looks good but glue doesn't work
These were nice looking, almost invisible on the floor, and definitely anti-slip, which is what I wanted, but those good points are useless if the glue doesn't stick. No instructions came with the product but I cleaned the floor first, the way other reviewers said to do it. The "stickers" started floating up in the water during the 2nd shower, with more to follow each time. In less than a week, out of the sixteen I put down, only 4 were left and they were half on, half off. As long as they're dry, they stick fine but when they're in water, especially when soap or shampoo is added, they start peeling off. I emailed the seller about a different type of glue they might suggest for me to use but that question was not addressed and I was advised to get a refund. Too bad, I really wanted these to work but I will be returning them.Follow-up: Several times, this seller has contacted me that they will let their supplier know about the problem I had with these coming up from the shower floor when soaking in water. I truly hope the glue issue can be resolved because I still need something to keep my shower from being slippery and I would buy these again if this was fixed.

One year later..
Easiest replacement method: let soak for a few minutes in lighter fluid. The top layer will come off easy. Start scraping the bottom layer with an old credit card. Peel slowly while scraping. Lighter fluid will remove residual stickiness. Clean as usual. Dry and clean with isopropyl alcohol or vodka :)Replace with new pads. After installed for a year, these have been the best option for me. Easy application. The two most stepped on circles have come loose and sliding away, so i'm ordering another pack for backup to replace as needed. I hate getting in and out of my claw foot tub without them. They keep pretty clean with a bleach cleanser. A little rough when sitting in the bathtub but that's rare.

Very good - no problems sticking
These do the job. New house - the bath tub and the walk in shower have mildly textured floors and both very slippery. Couldn't get anything with a suction cup to stick, didn't want a bunch of ducks or flowers stuck to the floor so I ordered these. Very surprised when they arrived. They are good sized, stick on very well and if you order the clear ones you can barely see them. They are large enough that the 20 pieces covered both the tub and the shower. I put these in appx a month ago and they are still firmly stuck on.

They don't stay down...
I liked that when they were placed, they became invisible. The worst part was that they didn't stay down. Almost immediately after a shower they started to curl up. They don't come with instructions, so installing is a guessing game. If they stayed, definitely 5 stars.
