I bought this tool for the door hinge pin punch, the nail punch is just a great free bonus. I regularly have to take doors off in my line of work and nothing else is as easy or fast at accomplishing this than this tool. Just pull back on the spring, release, and bam! The pin flies out of the hinge and catching it in the air makes you look like a badass.Solid quality, fully functional, easy to use tool for a ridiculously fair price. And the delivery was ridiculously fast to boot. You can’t go wrong with the tools or the seller.

I am a female that has been fixing things and doing different remodeling projects at my home while learning as I go. This is something that I never realized I needed until I had it. I cannot tell you how much I use these. In addition to using them to tap in nails, I couldn't get the door pins out of one of my doors and we had literally tried everything, this is what saved the day. I spent hours trying to get the pins out, my neighbor tried to get the pins out, another friend came over and tried to get the pins out, all with no success. I tapped this the next day a few times and it was done. I also love the fact that when I'm trying to sink a nail I can hold it at the base so it doesn't move and then just pull back a few times on the spring and it goes right in. There's no pounding, there's no slipping off the nail and damaging anything, and very minor effort. I think it has made me quicker and has prevented little mistakes as I continue on my remodeling journey.

This little item is tricky but works. I have to hammer and nail these nails that are smaller than brads for jewelry box accessories. I used to have to pilot hole with a wire drill then basically push the nail in.With some practice, these devices drive nails or hinge pins with ease. You won’t get it at first but keep trying because once it happens you won’t drive tiny nails any other way. Trick is to start the nail slowly buy lightly lifting the spring. Once the nail starts, pull back an let her go. The force drives them micro nails all the way home.

I really like spring loaded nailsets, as you can quickly set nails, without the need for a hammer. I saw these and thought great two of them for a decent price. This set has two double end nail sets. Pointy and flat. The flat one works well as is, the pointy one however is a bit "too pointy" to be used as a nailset (i.e. 16- or 18-gauge finish nails) and may need to be filed down a bit to give you more surface area (a dimple on the ends would also be appreciated). If you are using it as a center punch or something like that the pointy one would be great for leaving a nice crisp mark for drilling etc.
