This rod deserves far more than five stars. My story with it is a long one, but I’ll keep it short. When I first received the rod, it arrived damaged, and I was really disappointed. However, after reaching out to the seller, my entire outlook changed. Their customer service was exceptional — genuinely kind, caring, understanding, and incredibly professional. They immediately replaced the rod, listened to my feedback, and personally tracked every step of the shipment until it arrived in my country. Living in the Caribbean means shipping usually takes longer, but the Littma team delivered service of truly outstanding quality. As for the rod itself and the fishing ability, it’s 100% worth every penny. The weight feels perfect, the build is solid, and the performance is impressive. I decided to test it as soon as it arrived, and to my surprise, the first thing that grabbed my hook was a turtle! The rod bent dramatically under the pressure, yet held strong without any issue. I eventually released the turtle, but that moment showed me just how tough and reliable this rod really is. I’m genuinely impressed, both by the product and by the Littma company. The rod is lightweight but incredibly durable, made from high-quality graphite that provides the perfect balance between strength and sensitivity. Whether I’m fishing from the shore or casting into the surf, it handles well and gives me great control over my casts. The 10ft length is perfect for surf fishing, offering enough reach to cast out to where the fish are while still being manageable to handle. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s a little on the stiffer side, which makes it less ideal for light tackle fishing, but it excels when it comes to heavier fishing. I purchased the 9 ft surf rod not having much expectation and it did not disappoint after 6 months of using it on saltwater shorelines. I've caught 24 inch stripers, 4 foot leopard sharks, and 25 pound bat rays with it and it handled them all with ease. It's not a Penn or a high end Daiwa but I feel it performs just as well. I was able to cast 4 ounce weights a mile with it and as much force a giant bat ray puts on it, it seems sturdy as heck.
