Her follow-up, Shepherd Moons, was even more successful, selling over 10 million copies despite its slightly lower grade of ethereal enchantment. In 1997 she released Paint the Sky with Stars, an assortment of her best work from these two early albums plus gems from 1995's The Memory of Trees and the soundtrack to the BBC series The Celts. The most melodic and atmospheric examples of Enya's lovely Celtic-flavoured songwriting shine on this disc. Those unfamiliar with the former Clannad member will find charm in such sweet lullabies as "Marble Halls" and "China Roses" while delighting in the more energetic "Book of Days", "Storms in Africa" and "Caribbean Blue". Beautiful music
I am a huge Enya fan, i purchased this cd for the car and it’s too pretty to keep in there! the sleeve inside features orinoco flow lyrics, alternate shots of album covers and very artistic pictures! I have put it up it’s so beautiful. I bought this cd used and you cant tell a difference. very good music!

The Best of Enya cd
When I bought this Best of Enya, I was hoping it would include a song which I personally feel could be the best I've heard yet, but I didn't know the title! Well, it wasn't on this cd, but I did subsequently discover the title and found that cd; so I am blessed. The title? "Only Time". Now I can listen to Only Time, and all the other "Best of", and there's quite a selection on Paint the Sky with Stars; easy, relaxing listening.

Enya has a way of singing brings a almost haunting effect on many tunes. Best collection of her songs making this the best value CD I have seen of hers

Great as an introduction
Really good collection of songs & very easy to listen to. Most of her early hits are included here. From a personal point of view The Very Best Of Enya is an improvement & the stronger sampler for a new listener.

A compilation from one of our few true musical geniuses
A lot of very good songs from a genuine musician with a wonderfully relaxed voice. It is romantic and slushy, but absolutly brilliantly vocative if you go with it. Enya has plent of great songs that aren't here, but these are all good.

Beautiful Irish music
Enya is one of my favourite artists but I was missing a few cds. Her music is so lovely and haunting at times.
