Needs caps!!!
I've been going through a perfume phase lately, ordering lots of samples, trying find a "signature" scent, or at least something new that i like. Things got way more complicated when i started worrying about “endocrine disruptors,” and now i’m only interested in using “clean” fragrances. This brand is pricey in comparison to say, Target’s lines of “clean” perfumes and body sprays (Target actually has some pretty good ones), but I have sensitive skin and I was worried some of those might be making me itch, so I figured this sample set was worth a try. Believe it or not, 5 2ml samples can actually cost MORE than $28 on perfume decanting sites - though a major difference is that you get caps and more importantly, you get the ability to choose from a large variety of fragrances, many of them high end and/or hard to find. But whatever, 2ml gives you a good amount to test out a perfume - like you should be able to get at least a week out of each one these, maybe more or less depending on how heavily you use. It's too bad these don't have caps, otherwise they'd be extremely travel friendly (this actually really annoyed me so 1 star off for that). Anyways, I had grown kinda skeptical of this brand by the time the set finally arrived b/c at that point, i’d gotten around to reading the negative reviews (this company seems to have quality control and shipping issues - perhaps some caps could help with that). By then, I'd already discovered the various lines of “clean” perfumes and body sprays at Target, and i'd basically concluded that most other “clean” fragrances didn’t seem to warrant their high price tags. However, I became a little more open to paying more after trying some of these: 7 Summers: I ended up buying this one. It doesn’t smell particularly “summery” to me, but i like it. It’s a sweet, powdery, musky pear scent with hints of coconut, lavender, and bergamot, and undertones of wood. And yeah, it smells like Ariana Grande’s Cloud (which some see as a cheap dupe of Baccarat Rouge 540) but IMO it’s slightly less sweet and fruity and a tad more woodsy than Cloud (Cloud’s dry down is sweeter/creamier IMO). They are similar enough this one isn’t worth buying if you already have Cloud (which is also a pretty “clean” fragrance and technically cheaper if you get the 3.4 oz). 7 Summers has decent longevity, but mediocre projection if i’m being honest (sometimes i can still smell it faintly on my wrists by the afternoon but LOL my nose has to make direct contact to find it). YMMV. I opted to buy it over Cloud b/c like most of Grande’s perfumes that i’ve tried, Cloud seems a bit weak. I Love Your Smell, Baby: the description doesn’t do this one justice, but I guess the name actually does. I instantly decided I HAD TO HAVE IT. I don’t even know how to describe it other than to say that to me, it’s smells fruity and musky, but also good enough to eat. I JUST KNOW I WANT TO BATHE IN IT. I can’t be satisfied with a single spray of this stuff - i am constantly tempted to spray it all over. I feel like it doesn’t project enough and wears off too fast, but i don’t think a scent like this could ever last long enough or project enough. A single spray on skin lasts maybe 3-4 hrs (more lasts longer and it definitely lasts longer on clothes, but it will never be enough!!!!). I’m already a little resentful, cause I’m probably gonna be ordering this one a lot! Malibu Night: The coconut is strong with this one. It’s tropical and beach-y and smells good enough to eat. Definitely smells more like summer than 7 Summers to me. I was planning on buying this one until i smelled I Love Your Smell Baby and was forever changed, but i digress…. I do feel like out of all of these it’s the one that wears off the fastest, but that could also just be because it’s one of those delicious gourmand scents that i could never get enough of (i definitely have a thing for gourmand scents). This one has inspired a new need in me to find a “clean” coconut body spray (gonna try a Pacifica one). Lovely, Sweet Dreams: this one is definitely for the vanilla lovers, only it’s like a floral vanilla. The truth is, i’ve never cared for vanilla scents unless they were gourmand and like cake, which this one definitely isn’t. So while I can appreciate the floral vanilla scent of this, it’s not something i would buy. The name did inspire me to spray my pillowcase with it before i went to sleep though (it’s “clean” so why not?). Dans Les Bois: This one is weird. I guess it’s for people who don’t like strong perfumes? It's woody with an extremely subtle cold crisp scent to it, but IMO it’s all way too subtle (ironic considering DIME describes it as “bold”). Also the most unisex of the bunch. I knew it wasn’t for me right away (not a huge fan of cedarwood if i’m being honest), but even so, I didn’t actively dislike it. I even tried it out several times solely b/c I couldn’t figure it out. I was confused by the description (“red saffron, jasmine, cedarwood”) b/c in addition to the undertones of wood that 7 Summers has, I mostly just found this scent weirdly salty and thought it smelled faintly of the ocean with a bit of soap as it wore off (i was absolutely convinced of this, which is definitely not what it’s supposed to smell like!). Once I got curious enough to search out a better explanation for what this one was supposed to smell like (there’s a more detailed description for the full bottle on amazon), i found out that it’s got fir balsam and amber. Well I can smell those now that i know they’re there, but tbh I think this perfume is just way too subtle (weak?) for me to smell anything but the wood in it. Still, i can see why others might like it. It IS interesting.

Very tiny
Perfume smells good but for the price this should be bigger! It’s so tiny! Don’t buy this as a gift because it’s way too small! Maybe a very expensive stocking stuffer!

Balanced Scents
I really love the scent of these and my husband found one he likes too from this sampler! I was interested in these since they have ewg verified scents and I am super sensitive to fragrance. So far I haven’t had any reaction to the scents but I use them only for special occasions. The scent lasts all day but isn’t too strong. It’s a pleasant smell and not overpowering which is just what I wanted. My husband’s liked to wear the Dans Les Bois scent. I do wish all of the scents in the pack were ewg verified or listed ingredients for those of us who are sensitive to certain fragrances and chemicals.

This sample set is a steal! LOVE.
I don't really understand the complaints regarding the small sizes of the bottles. They're samples, so, of course, they're going to be small. 😄 I feel like for everything you get, it's a pretty great deal! The perfumes are high quality, and the bottles are frosted and sleek. As far as the scents go, here are my thoughts: 1. LOVELY SWEET DREAMS and I LOVE YOUR SMELL, BABY are my favorites! It's hard to describe their scents, but they're both fruity floral. LOVELY is on the slightly sweeter side, and I LOVE YOUR SMELL is brighter. 2. MALIBU NIGHTS is my next favorite. To me, it smells like coconut and key lime. It's slightly warm and very inviting. 3. I don't know if I was accidentally given two of the same perfumes that were given different labels? Assuming that isn't the case, 7 SUMMERS and DANS LES BOIS smell almost exactly the same. The only difference I noticed is that DANS has a slight pepper-y smell to it. Also, they smell almost exactly like Cloud by Ariana Grande. I already own Cloud and it works really well for me, so I wouldn't see the point in buying the other two. But I would totally buy full sizes of the first three!

A literal sampler
⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3 out of 5 stars) This is truly a sample kit — and I mean that very literally. For the price I paid, I was honestly disappointed to realize these are essentially free-sized samples. I expected small bottles or at least a bit more product, so that part felt misleading. That said, I’ve been a longtime fan of 7 Summers, and that scent continues to be a winner for me. Unfortunately, the other fragrances in the kit just weren’t for my personal taste. One bright spot: Sweet Lovely Dreams was a hit for my daughter, and I’ll definitely be purchasing a full-size of that for her. Overall, I appreciate the chance to try the scents, but I wish the value better matched the price. If you’re very scent-curious and don’t mind tiny samples, it may be worth it — otherwise, sticking with a known favorite might be the better option.

Great size to learn what you like.
Some I like other are ok. Some are just not to my taste. The smell last and they give you a good sample so you can figure out what you do like. That was why I tried them to learn what I like and they did just that.
